You were really wet and really sweet. Thankyou for the crew for creating this magical space, thank you to all the new and old friends whom I shared beautiful moments of connection with - you all inspire me endlessly. 

Had a lot of fun free flowing with sounds that make me joyous and tracks that mean a lot to me. I am not here for perfection. I am here to be vulnerable and to share with you sounds that move me.

This year was truly a high point for me, words can't describe the feeling so all I can do is send all my love and gratitude to each and every one of you. This was my favorite sunrise set ever, hands down. and here it is! the re-recording of my mira’s birthday live-set (if you were there, you might have realized that i experienced some small technical issues with my loops, i thought re-recording made justice to the effort put behind producing an almost new live-set for this special event). also thanks to the dancers that stuck with me even then, that meant a lot to me. 

a big thank you goes to @mira_kater for inviting me once more to this amazing event filled with so many talented and friendly artists which i truly admire since my early days.

Arutani 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 @ 46 Katzen Tanzen auf'm Tisch | Kater Blau

This is a rework/remix of one of my most memorable sets; playing at sunrise on the playa, underneath my Samara Installation at Burning Man 2006. One of the motivating factors behind the installation, was to create a space to throw a party with my crew. We played all night and had views of the legendary Uchronia (aka Belgian Waffle), deep playa, and the Black Rock horizon. While these tracks are ~15 yrs old, they still shine! Recorded at home, 318 days into the pandemic.

Brian Schmitt is a Sacramento-based designer, artist, DJ, and family man. He started DJing in the early 2000s, playing at San Francisco warehouse parties and Burning Man. After a long hiatus from playing music, the pandemic afforded him extra time to dive deep into it again. His sets focus on slower tempos and deep melodic beats.
