Nautilus Creative Space is an independently run art collective that recently moved to Newtown after 15 years in Ōwhiro Bay. In this very fun episode of B-Side Stories, Sadie talks to artists Jordan, Sean, Holly, and James about the transformative nature of working in a collective. We hear about their many creative pursuits from music and songwriting to videography, intuitive guidance readings, painting, jewellery, photography, writing...and much more! We also hear music from Sean's band Spiral, and James performs live in the studio.

Rachel Benefield is a mum committed to going plastic free! Laurie and Laura spoke to Rachel about how her family reduced their plastic waste, and how the experience inspired her speak-up and lead Plastic Free Kāpiti, a community group on Facebook to help other folks on the same journey!

Vanessa Stacey talks to Sadie Coe about her dedication to the performing arts and to helping others into the industry. Vanessa began acting on the big screen at the age of seven, and since then has worked around New Zealand and the world acting, directing, and singing with various bands, as well as working as a publicist and tour manager for acts such as Fat Freddy's Drop. She also shares one of her latest songs live in the studio.

Laura and Perrine are learning all about The Share Shack in Aro Valley with Taya, the community fridge coordinator. It's a place for people to share things they aren't using any more, or find some food or clothing they can use, all for free! Run by volunteers and donations, it's reducing waste and sharing with our neighbors. Find them on Facebook, or in real life reality right next to the Aro Valley Community Centre.
