Timmo follows up his debut Drumcode release ‘We Beat On’ with a brand new 4-tracker packed to the rafters with his own unique blend of techno. His productions are getting plays from the likes of Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Richie Hawtin amongst others; 2017 is set to be his biggest year yet. 

Timmo’s unique sound has captured the eyes and ears of many highly revered techno DJs around the world and his ‘System’ release is a stark reminder of exactly why this is. ‘Intensify’ is a big room record that is set to do some real damage on dance floors worldwide. This peak time tool thumps through 7 minutes of power, dragging you in and throwing you out the other side as the track rolls on. 
‘The Maze’ is an example of his excellent production, with his use of synths on a level that some producers take years to hone. ‘System’ is a haunting track, authentic four-to-the-floor techno that screams in to top gear right from the off. The release closes with the more groove and bass line laden ‘Together’. One of those tracks that is guaranteed to get stuck in your head…

Kneaded Pains Boss men Dense & Pika join up with label regulars Melodys Enemy for an epic collaboration, 'From Nothing' is pure main room action with a thunderous kick drum and perfectly honed sonic percussion underpinning the slightly sinister sounding male vocal. Already being hammered by Carl Cox and Adam Beyer this is sure to be one of the years biggest underground hits. Perc takes it into a harder, more streamlined territory on his remix.

Biographie:
Als Kai Wagner in Wiesbaden geboren wurde, war seine Liebe zur Musik ihm quasi in die Wiege gelegt worden. Sehr schnell hatte er den Reiz an allem gefunden, womit man Klänge erzeugen konnte und so begann er auch 1991 im Alter von 14 Jahren mit dem Plattenauflegen. Seine musikalische Prägung holte er sich hauptsächlich im Frankfurter Omen Club, was auch über Jahre hinweg sein "zweites Wohnzimmer" wurde. Die ersten offiziellen Termine folgten dann auch im Wiesbadener Underground, bis er sich durch eigene Party-Konzepte wie "Konstant Vorwaerts" (2000- 2005) und "Minimal from Hell" (2006-2008) einen Namen im Rhein-Main-Gebiet gemacht hat. 2005 begann er dann auch mit dem produzieren eigener Tracks, was noch bis heute seine Hauptintension bedeutet. Seit 2008 bespielt Kai nicht nur regelmäßig das Frankfurter U60311, sondern ist auch regelmäßig in allen angesagten Clubs quer durch Deutschland unterwegs.

While the world takes a forced hiatus from clubbing, Risa Taniguchi’s new EP for Second State offers a visceral hit of big room energy and dancefloor transcendence. "How We Dance Again“ reminds us of the incomparable unification and freedom found on the dancefloor and soundtracks the celebration that awaits once the club doors reopen.

The title track bristles with untamed intensity, spiky, ravey synths and tantalising breakdowns. It’s a thrilling peak-time cut destined to cause absolute chaos in venues around the globe. "Slipped My Mind“ takes a slightly moodier tack, threaded with tickling synths, chilly atmospherics and a crisp, distant voiceover. “It just... slipped my mind,” Taniguchi murmurs. The keys on "Sodium“ would almost sound housey if they weren’t so dark in tone, sending a doomy memo perfectly pitched for the witching hour. Closing track "Unchained“, meanwhile, sets a weirder, wonkier tone. A portentous, distorted male vocal has a hypnagogic effect, offset by zippy stabs and a thumping kick.

On this storming, all-killer pack, Taniguchi – whose bonding with Pan-Pot’s label Second State reaches a new level – proves why she’s one of Tokyo’s hottest exports whose future star status is more than certain.
