2nd in this series, with each album channeling its own musical theme, genre, vibe, etc., as always, fresh from the Jams Muse!

Collection #2 is definitely a curated "Chill n' Trip" experience: Some folks like to chill, some folks like to take a trip, and we all need a musical soundtrack to our lives . . . 

Starts chill, and ends chill, with a groove trip in the middle, which gets a bit eucaphonic at times. . . 

Always idiosyncratic, B2K's jams and loops ("jam-a-lopes,") were mostly remixed and recut for this collection, with possible additions and/or replacement tracks over time.  (Only 2 tracks from Collection #1)

And again, the always intrepid Oh (on skins) & Tree (on badassbass) laid down some fresh new beats and lines, then remixed and recut for this Collection!

Oh pulled out his vintage electronic drum machine for a few of the tracks, channeling the 80's Muse!

Again, another shout out to an awesome B2K fan, who told us B2K was their favourite source of fresh "chill" and "trippy" music

and we'll let AI fill in the rest!

     "Chill" music, characterized by relaxing and atmospheric sounds from genres like downtempo, ambient, and acoustic, and "trip" music, which typically encompasses genres like trip-hop, featuring hypnotic, downtempo electronic grooves, often associated with a more "trippy" or psychedelic feel. 

    Slow rhythms, a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments, and a relaxing, sometimes "trance-like" quality.  Hypnotic, atmospheric, hypnotic grooves.  A psychedelic or altered-state experience.

. . . And, what's up with the MIDI?

Had a MIDI set-up for a while, but haven't played in a jam or recording setting until recently. Basically, can't play a non-guitar virtual instrument like a guitar (try strumming a saxophone!) The technology isn't perfect, so sometimes the MIDI gets a bit "Moogy" or "bag-pipey," and keep in mind, only playing notes with one hand, not two, like a horn or keyboard. Even with these shortcomings, love the MIDI!
