Great artists from South America have long shown their devotion for techno and house music, and in Be For the Podcast 038, one of the region’s best representatives, Brazilian DJ and producer Wehbba, showcases his broad range of rhythms and vibes by delivering a punchy set ready to crash the dance floors.

Ten years ago, this Sao Paulo native released his debut album on Tronic Music entitled ‘Full Circle’, and three years later, his second work ’Square Two’ raised the bar in his discography, showing off his incredible versatility and musical skills. Wehbba’s diverse artistic facets have been imprinted on prestigious labels such as Bedrock, Toolroom, Soma, Audiomatique, Trapez and Suara, to mention a few. Wehbba has a singular and substantial style: techno with a strong personality and a structured harmony. On this session, Wehbba stamps several colourful soundscapes to evoke multiple shades of colour and movement, always solidifying and keeping it true to his concept.

Over the last year, @funkxrish have injected their brand of groovy underground DJ sets into Toronto's nightlife community with passion and zeal! The combination of Terry Funk and Rish and their drive as both producers and DJs has lead to a rapid synchronized dash onto the lineups of both local events and out-of-province gigs. Thanks to a continued relationship with Montreal's CIRCUS Afterhours, Funk X Rish return to the legendary venue at the end of this month after a myriad of summer performances at events like Electric Island.

Now, the duo are on the cusp of double digits with their monthly podcast - X Marks the Spot - as well as curating the productions of both Canadian and international producers thanks to their own label, Plus Minus Recordings. Enjoy this hour of house tunes (plus some surprises) c/o Funk X Rish. It's  jam packed with a metric tonne of edits, unreleased tracks, originals, and samples.

Jason Esun is a Producer and DJ out of Long Beach CA who has taken his inspiration from the underground and made it his own. About 10 years ago when he was 18, Jason learned to produce music with Abelton Live by transferring his knowledge of music theory into his new-found love for electronic music. Jason then started going to raves during his freshman year of college, and when he saw Green Velvet play for the first time, he knew that being a DJ was what he wanted to pursue during his lifetime. Jason continued to go to parties and found his love for house music through artists like M.A.N.D.Y, Seth Troxler, and Jamie Jones. Once he Graduated College in 2014, he moved to LA to pursue his music dream to become a DJ in the LA underground scene. He started getting booked at a few parties here and there and then linked up with Bright People and has been playing parties in both the Desert and LA warehouse scene ever since.
"Being considered Wulfpack family is a huge honor to me and when I was asked to do this mix I couldn't help but put my heart and soul into it. I spent a lot of time getting the right tracks to provide the vibe that defines my style and i am extremely proud of the end result.

It was love at first sight when we first partied with this dude two years ago in Mexico, and since then jozif has become one of our most beloved resident DJs at our Desert Hearts Festivals. His delicious personality and incomparable party vibe has made him a fan favorite behind the decks, but it's his dedication towards pushing the musical boundaries that's kept him in our hearts around the world.
