Lies (Concept)

Here's a track I made to showcase my VT-4 and SE-02. Was a fun track to make. The monsters can be anything in your life that gets you down. Hope you enjoy!

Monsters

This track was produced ENTIRELY using Mutable Instruments Plaits module. Drums, bass, plucks... ALL Plaits. Recorded track by track into Ableton. Sampled the speech and chords from the Plaits into a drum rack to make triggering easier. Some light EQ, compression, and Waves H-Delay were added. Ozone 8 to master. Hope you enjoy! I love one-synth-songs and wanted to try to make my own.

Plaits

This track was produced using ONLY the Korg Prologue Synthesizer. All sounds including drums were made on this very powerful synth. Only some EQ and compression have been added in mixing. The Prologue has a very lush, warm sound to it, but the filter and user oscillators can add some real bite. All reverb, delay, and chorus effects are the Prologue as well.

Prologue

I made a new patch on the Prologue that utilizes the expression pedal for the filter. This song came from noodling around with the new patch. Hope you like. I'm thinking of releasing all of the Synth/Rock tracks as an EP called Fine. Whatcha think?

I'll Do It Myself

Song about being a warlock in the game Destiny 2. It's about the struggle of turning to the darkness for help even though I'm a guardian of the light. Cheesy, but I had fun making it. Lots of vocoder and I sampled audio from the game.
