Our next fighter is mexCalito from Cologne, Germany. His style is unique, formed by Techno, Zenon, Minimal and spice it with some kind of haunting psychedelic groove. The rolling basslines with that hypnotic groove gives his music a character, driving psycho synth tones with bubbling, and fizzy sounds like from another world, integrating a freakish and impelling drive that guarantees a physical experience along the journey. Subios Records, Evil Flow. Records, Music4Aliens, AlpakaMuzik and many more are among those labels who released his music. Heute begrüßen wir den Salzburger DJ und Produzenten Chris Nord bei uns. Chris erkannte in den frühen 90ern seine Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik. Als Kind beschäftigte er sich ausgiebig mit Keyboards und später mit dem Schlagzeug, was Groove und Rhythmen in sein Leben brachte. Nicht nur als DJ ist er fleißig unterwegs, sondern ebenfalls als Produzent. Dies lässt sich an seinen Veröffentlichungen auf etablierten Labels wie Amped (GB) Soupher Records (GER) Shadow Wulf (USA) und weiteren erkennen. Ihr könnt euch musikalisch auf eine Kombination aus Minimal, Deep Tech und Minimal Techno freuen, wie man es selten gehört hat. When he is not performing or travelling, he spends most of his time at the second home – the studio. He´s living and breathing techno music and creates enthusiastically his own music styles. In the electronic music scene of Cologne and KohPhangan, mexCalito is a well-known and familiar name. He walks through his life with a hedonistic lightness, a marvellous togetherness is essential and also necessary for him.
He bubbles with energy and is an integral part in organizing parties. His sound is characterized by frisky and deep and rolling basses and a experimental hypnotic groove. He takes the crowd on its tapestry of sounds and creates a sensational vibe and atmosphere and which leads to a deep energetic level of mind. His unique music style is a composition between techno, zenonesque, minimal and is influenced by a haunting psychedelic groove.

Closing Closing. What a journey. Present, past, future and all parts of my soul reunited in one set.. I started with techno as DANIEL KRAU and ended with 4 Decks NEUROLOGIC in the beautiful wonderland forrest. Here u can listen to the last part (3 hours and 33 minutes) of my 6 hours closing set at Waldfriedens HIDM Festival 2022. The vibe was amazing and it was one of the most energetic sets of my life. THX for all the beautiful souls on the dancefloor.

Mex Calito ist als Kölner DJ und Produzent bekannt und verteilt auf unzähligen Events seinen Zauber. Heute beschert er uns einen grandiosen Hörgenuss, den ihr euch nicht entgehen lassen solltet. Seit Jahren beschäftigt sich Mex hauptsächlich mit Musik. Dazu gehört: sie zu produzieren, aufzulegen oder einfach zu verkörpern. Sein musikalischer Style ist strange; er mag psychedelische Töne, wie im Psytrance, doch auch die Klarheit und Präsenz ist ihm wichtig. Zwischen 124-130 Bpm fühlt er sich am wohlsten. Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei ihm für sein Set und wünschen jedem viel Spaß beim Hören.
