To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

Chris Liebing is synonymous with techno. His legacy is long assured, but his craft never stops evolving. Whether as label head, podcast curator, DJ or producer, he continues to challenge himself and his audience to explore new realms in the electronic world. And often ahead of the curve, too, from the early, hard-edged and loopy 90s sound which is back en vogue today, through his more stripped-back turn of the millennium minimalism and onto the cinematic atmospheres and broader alternative electronica of his latest albums on Mute. It's no stretch to say, then, that Chris Liebing's story is closely connected to the story of techno itself.

Italy based as a music producer, DJ, Beatmaker.. iBOT is the alias of Ivo (I.M.) and is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Hypnotic, minimal Modular and Raw Techno Sounds.

Combining the sound of the genre with a mystical methodology, iBOT has released in defining labels like TMM, Affekt Recordings, Soma, Rebels Records, Concepto Hipnotico, [R]3volution, CorpusBlack, Coded Platform, Dolma, FreshCut Techno Label, Kabelkiste, Primitive State, ITU, Eclectic Limited, Subsist Records, Diffuse Reality and more. His label mind is behind Research From Space records[est021’] and runs his own Studio productions in Italy.

Having spent his formative years experiencing the Electronic Music scene from many angles, first steps in Italy (his Hometown Turin), iBOT has played in many clubs, raves and afterparties of Turin and North Italy, traveling Europe through Ibiza, Berlin, London rave scene as clubber, DJ, producer and collaborator, his name is iBOT (Ivano Marsalisi).

Class of 85’, his music receives the support of Techno and House industries’ icons. He has now evolved into a unique producer of his own right, and already has several high quality Techno Electronic tracks lined up on some of the best labels worldwide. Talented and the most promising artist on the Techno Underground music global scene.

¡La entrega número 102 de nuestra serie la firma nuestro amigo Liszt! 

Liszt es un artista que reside en Madrid desde hace poquito, amante de la música en un amplio abanico y clubber desde bien joven. Su paso por la ciudad de Granada le hizo debutar en cabina y adentrarse un poco más en el circuito, llegándole esa motivación extra la cual le ha permitido avanzar hasta el día de hoy, estrenándose en las cabinas de algunos clubs como Moonback o The Bassement.

Nos hace mucha ilusión y nos llena de orgullo poder publicar este set el cual fue grabado en directo, ya que posiblemente, sea uno a los que más dedicación y amor le haya puesto el artista extremeño, pues no todos los días se le hace un warm-up al gran Dj Pete en la primera edición de una nueva promotora, como en este caso fue la de Enfasis el pasado 20 de octubre en La Asociación (Madrid).

No tiene que ser nada fácil ponerle la pista a punto a un artista referente a nivel mundial como lo es el alemán, y menos aún haciéndolo con discos y mientras este está detrás tuya en cabina, pues más de uno “nos podríamos como un flan”. Liszt sacó su artillería pesada en forma de vinilo e hizo frenética a una pista de baile a base de dinámicas mezclas ligadas a ritmos tan clásicos como enérgicos, vibrantes hi-hats y vocales que no te dejan escapar.

Este set 100% vinilo incluye tracks de artistas que vienen pisando fuerte como Decka, Rossen, Altinbas, Deluka o Kashpitzky y otros más veteranos como Radio Slave, Stef Mendesidis, Jeroen Search, Kr!z o Steve Rachmad.

Recently, efforts are being made to achieve harmony between techno and drum & bass rhythms. However, a small number of people have been attempting this for quite some time. His mix is ​​like a sharp and sophisticated blade that focuses years of past attempts into one delicate spot. Deadly and beautiful.

Medulla Oblongata is a discreet yet emerging Dj who blossoms in his musical biotope between ambient and a mental and hypnotic techno. His techno sets are an invitation to an immersive journey where dancers can forget themselves. We could see him working lately with the Château Perché Festival (as a DA/Stage manager or Dj) and their secret and uncompromising side projects and famous venues of the east of France such as KALT (Strasbourg, Fr) or Ostra Club (Nancy, Fr) where he can express himself without boundaries.

With other weirdos he also co-founded the collective TRÊVE gathering artists from different horizons around ambient and visual arts in order to propose dreamlike and contemplative events. His ambient sets become hybridized with tape loops, droning machines, cassettes and modular synth.

Vera Logdanidi's journey in the music industry began as a DJ in Kyiv, Ukraine during the mid-2000s. Since then, she has made significant strides as a producer, with her music finding a home on esteemed labels such as Rhythm Büro, Semantica Records, On Board Music, Dial Records, Corridor Audio and Secuencias Temporales. Her solo and collaborative tracks have received remix treatments from artists including Eric Cloutier, Artefakt, and Svreca. Moreover, her experiments in collaborations have led to joint live performances with Ukrainian producer Na Nich.

Modesty and an introvert personality made this club veteran, devoted to music for a decade, wait a long time for due recognition. A passionate digger, compositional perfectionist, striking with elegant minimalism. He is responsible for the Syndykat (@syndykat71), where he acts as a promoter and one of heads of their association. Michał was getting his edge in the old Das Lokal; blossomed already at the second one at Solidarności plaza. The culmination of Holon project, created together with Porcelain Head, was their performance at Plötzlich Am Meer festival and Humboldthain club in Berlin.

Trying to follow his ideals of Detroit, in his thought-out, coherent sets, he plays with contrast, mixing the light with the heavy, and dirt with melodiousness. Although the omnipresent groove he usually bases on a regular metre, he often breaks the conventional techno with breakbeat. Enthusiast of playing closing sets.

AlchemicalMinds Session 052 / PWCCA (España) SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY EDITION. 

PWCCA aka Dr. Cyanide, Nacido en Madrid (26/04/1979), activo desde 1995. Inició su carrera como DJ en pubs locales, pasando del progressive/house al techno más underground, influenciado por figuras como James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Regis o Surgeon. En 1998 representa Madrid en el 1º Campeonato Nacional de DJs Deejay Magazine (Disco 8, BCN) entre más de 600 participantes, obteniendo el 5º puesto. Entre 1998–2000 trabaja como DJ en clubs de la capital y co-funda la franquicia Phrenetic Society Madrid junto a Cristian Varela, donde enseña producción y DJing. Crea su propio sello Hardtools Records, lanzando vinilos como Evidence y Unknown EP. También colabora en Donkeyhead Recordings junto a Cristian Varela y Gayle San, y participa en el programa Phrenetic Power Music (Tango & Cash Radio). Presente en festivales como Casting Phrenetic (Villalba), Van-Vas, y múltiples raves madrileñas, consolidando su sonido techno influido por la escuela de Birmingham. En 2005 se centra en la producción y años más tarde reactiva Hardtools en formato digital, sumando los sellos Basic Form y UK Executes.
Ha trabajado y sido remezclado por Kessell, Al Ferox, Gunjack, Arnaud Le Texier, Error Etica, Kike Pravda, José Pouj, Cristian Varela, Gayle San, Horacio Cruz, Eric Fetcher, C-System, Fixeer, Michel Lauriola, ArchivOne, entre otros.
Su música ha sido pinchada por: Oscar Mulero, Tensal, Kessell, DJ Pete, Dave Clarke, Tommy Four Seven, David Meiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Exium, Pelacha, Kontal, Fanon Flowers, Abstract Division, Joton, Ángel Molina, Lewis Fautzi, Patrik Skoog, etc.
