Keep Hush Off Sight Mix

This is a mix that I have been thinking about and planning for a while, changing over time...mutating...as I got closer and closer to something that best represents me at this moment in time. A key part of my thought process was trying to make something that was varied in mood/energy/genre whilst maintaining a flow that felt natural to the listener. Unlike my mix “Transcendental”, which was solely targeted at the home listener during lockdown, the selection in this mix is inspired the dance music I have heard over the course of this year in clubs and at festivals. I don’t mix 140 regularly but every time I do it makes me question why I don’t more. I find it allows me to traverse into other genres much easier than house and techno. Bio:

B:Cam discovered his passion for music and DJ’ing whilst at university, becoming one of the founding residents of the successful night, Chameleon. Personally supporting talents such as Stenny, Sister Zo, Hutch, Adam Pits, Breaka, and Tañ, B:Cam is known for his varied taste, digging the darker and more ominous side of dance music.

In a club environment, B:Cam’s sets combine techno with UK bass, whilst outside the club his music leans towards afro, dub and jazz. His time spent in Berlin clubs and record shops has embedded techno as the driving force in his sets. Creating an interesting and deeply atmospheric soundscape is at the core of B:Cam's philosophy.
