The UK Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill is an authoritarian bill threatening our fundamental right to protest, giving a police force drunk on authority a free pass to enact violence against peaceful protestors.

Protestors could be jailed for more than a decade - the same goes for those who are caught defacing statues of slave traders which is double the amount of time a convicted rapist would receive. This bill is a puff piece on women's safety but the mask slips as it fails to mention women once in the 296 page report. As it attempts to stamp out movements like BLM and Xtinction Rebellion, it also threatens the Gypsy, Roma and traveller communities, furthering the efforts of those who seek to live in a society of homogeneity and conformity. This is the Tories tightening their vice like grip around our necks as they try to erase our civil liberties. We're angry and we know you feel the same, don't let it dissipate - see you at the protest.

The exhibition and the accompanying program are supplemented and documented by a bilingual reader, a deliberately open and diverse compendium with pockets for all sorts of materials about and from the artists, the protagonists of the accompanying program, other invited guests, and the curators of the project. The inserts are texts, essays, and other additional literature as well as visual materials such as photos, flyers, stickers, and posters. A single with A and B sides was produced specifically for the project: Automat feat. Genesis Breyer P-Orridge with “Mount Tamalpais” (2014) and Baal & Mortimer with “And the Sky Gave Up the Dead” (2021).

"Auf dem schwarzen Kanal" is one of the most outstanding, most sought-after releases in Conrad Schnitzler's extensive catalogue. It was the only Schnitzler record to appear on a major label and saw him flirting with the experimental new wave sound that was emerging in 1980, particularly on the title track. Nevertheless, it still managed to sound idiosyncratically unlike any other music around at the time. Recorded with Wolfgang Seidel at Peter Baumann's Paragon Studio in Berlin, the four tracks take us on a caustic, dissonant mutant disco trip which has lost none of its fascination in the years since. It gives us at Bureau B great pleasure to reissue this long lost work!

Arcane Patterns on Noods Radio from February 25 2021 w/ Kl.ne & a guest mix by DJ Raph from Nairobi, Kenya. DJ Raph is an outstanding producer and sound artist that magically combines field recordings with contemporary club sounds. His mix is called "The Clearing":  a longing for gathering out in the woods under an open sky and no virus particles in the wind.
