Over the past couple of years, Birmingham based producer The Golden Boy has experienced a steady rise to an established name in the house industry. Gaining support from the likes of Eton Messy and Radio 1 DJ's, he has remixed tracks from MK, Diplo and AZ&TOR, as well as producing many of his own - That Thing has hit over 1 million views on YouTube.

This mix really personifies The Golden Boy's music - upbeat and funky, containing some tracks that are very familiar and others that are completely unknown to us. Enjoy.

Sam Oakey, or as he is better known Smoki, is an unsigned producer from Worcester, and has been catching our eye for sometime. With some of his tracks making good progress on Soundcloud, we are delighted to present 'Rock The Boat', the second of our Free Download Series.

Rock The Boat is a track that we imagine to be played outside, in the sunshine, with a BBQ and some beers. With a crisp build up and lovely piano backing, the drop brings in some bass and altogether makes for a stunning track.

BÄAS Music Presents: MORRT

It wasn't too long ago where the name MORRT wouldn't have meant much to those following the booming house music genre. Fast forward to today, and he is popping up everywhere, with remixes of Route 94 and Applebottom getting his name out there, he is now establishing himself as both a very talented DJ and producer and will be a regular fixture on gigs throughout the summer, as well as getting onto the Soundwave Festival line up.

This mix is exactly what MORRT is all about - bass heavy tracks from the likes of Shiba Shan, Christoph and Bontan, combined with records of his own and makes for a seriously good hour of listening. Tracklist and Free Download available as well.

The third Free Download from BÄAS Music is courtesy of young producer Mulkern. Hailing from the UK, Mulkern has only recently taken up DJ'ing and producing, but after sending over 'Reptile' we are sure he's going to have a promising career ahead.

'Reptile' combines a mixture of upbeat, heavy hitting bass and well chosen vocals to create a really catchy track that we could listen to almost anywhere - whether it be in a club at 2am, or at home just chilling out.

Mulkern - Reptile

The latest track as part of the Free Download series comes from Kerouac. Plying his trade in the north of England, the young producer has captured our attention with his recent productions - soft touches of techno, intertwined with smooth vocals is what he is all about, with sounds that would not be out of place coming from the Innervisions record label.

Remixing one of the tracks of 2014 is a tough task, but Kerouac has once again proved he has what it takes. Not taking too much away from the original track, but adding just enough to know you've got something different, this atmospheric take on Caribou's 'Our Love' is on repeat here at BÄAS Music.

The 5th track in our Free Download series comes from Aves. Hailing from South East London, the DJ/producer has been working hard over the past couple of years and is beginning to make some good progress. Having played at the likes of Ministry of Sound and Pacha London, alongside reputable names such as Cedric Gervais and Mat Zo, we believe he's got a bright future ahead.

'Wish You Were Mine' rocketed to the no.2 in the charts, but Aves has been able to add his usual house driven vibes to the track, giving it that bit extra that we think it desperately needed.

It's been a while since we last uploaded a new mix, but this is definitely one of our best yet. Introducing Tommy Vercetti - a young producer from the West Midlands of England, who is making some seriously good music.

Tipped by Eton Messy as one of their 'top 5 to watch', and gaining support from various Radio 1 DJ's, Vercetti is very much on the rise. Producing a mixture of garage & house tracks, his rich musical knowledge is plain to see in his music. Sit back and enjoy this belter of a mix from the 21 year old.
