Baba Sy is a Senegalese dj based in Barcelona, where he has redefined his current sound language after a journey of musical exploration in an original club context but which has flowed into research from places where he was allowed a freer experimentation.He is co-founder of the musical collective Jokkoo, from where they spread and create the most electronic and avant-garde sound of Africa and its diaspora and through which he tries to create a community with which to share and build spaces where artistic expression is not limited.

Projects such as DEER, where he has written and performed in Wolof (his mother tongue) on the electronic bases of the producer Aiiom, or Pasaporte man are some of the alter egos he has created in recent years to express his creativity and give voice to his deepest concerns.
