Art Jefferson is a DJ, music journalist, and photographer.

With a lengthy DJ history spanning over two decades, Art Jefferson continues to bring cutting edge sounds of various genres, spearheading distinct vibes and creating an exciting listening experience for crowds. He has produced a number of radio shows, 
introducing audiences to acts across the globe, all with the same intentiion as his job behind the decks - to foster a specific mood of audible pleasure. 

As a writer and music journalist he has covered and interviewed various artists / producers spanning a multitude of genres. Whether covering a post-punk band from London, a U.S.
chart-topping artist, or a German electronic outfit, Art Jefferson’s ear for groundbreaking acts has made him a  modern day tastemaker. He contributed to Lukasz Polowcyzk’s latest book ‘Aint About Me’.

Art Jefferson’s approach to photography is no different having shot music, fashion, as well as cultural and political journalism. His work ‘Village People’, documenting the modern cultural shift of Dulwich Village, exhibited in London.

The element of style is something that yet again, plays a piece of the overall puzzle. 
Inspired by everything from 50s rock & roll to late 60s proto-punk, on down to 70s soul and even glam, there is always the embedding of culture and the sonics behind the eras that factor into Art Jefferson’s inspiration behind his delving into the world of fashion.

Ketiov returns to Moxie’s On Loop imprint after his 2023 debut ‘Late Night People’, an epic headline EP with four weighty dancefloor focused tracks. A prominent feature in many DJs' record bags including but not limited to the likes of Roi Perez, Shanti Celeste, Elias Mazian and more.

‘The Art of Structure’ retains that sense of cheekiness but takes things a little deeper, from straight up dance floor bangers like ‘I Luv U’ to slightly more introspective moments on ‘Structure’ and music that reflects a shared passion for New York house dubs. The EP organically came together over the last couple of years, a product of the long standing mutual respect between Ketiov and On Loop head honcho Moxie, a friendship that continues to flourish on and off the dancefloor. 

The esteemed producer has been working consistently in club culture over the last two decades, from running CARBS, the community focused party LGBTQ+ in Madrid alongside being a resident DJ at the fetish party MyPleasure. 

Having released music as part of the iconic and hugely respected Catz N Dogz duo since the early 2000s, Wojciech steps out regularly under the guise of Ketiov releasing records with Running Back and their own imprint KETIOV as well as STEP. 

Speaking on the release and working with On Loop, Ketiov says: "Originally the lyrics were written by my friend Gustavo for a promo video for their community party at Planeta Manas in Lisbon. They express what means dancing in Portuguese, and how important is to express yourself through dance, especially in queer spaces. When people feel safe, they break out of their shell. I used this vocal because I fell in love with the message, and happily Gustavo agreed to do it."

For Tapes #164, A for Alpha dives deep into a sound that has long lived in her record collection: dark, dubby, and hypnotically groovy tech house from the late 90s and early 00s.

Inspired by an inspiring summer at Love International, Houghton, and other spaces that celebrate deep listening and late-night movement, this mix is a love letter to the stripped-back, rolling energy of that era. Drawing on tracks from Nathan Coles, Terry Francis, Floorbangers, Tony Hewitt, SWAG, and seminal labels like Surreal, Wiggle, and Visitor, A for Alpha unearths a raw, tribal-tinged sound that still feels vital today.

It’s a personal journey, one that explores a side of her taste not always heard in the club, but deeply rooted in their identity as a DJ. Groovy, dark, and full of low-end weight.
