Mainstays on the house scene, Berlin/Hamburg boys Florian & Nils from Kruse & Nuernberg have been playing integral roles in the dance world for some time now, so it was right about time for us to sign them on Exploited.

Kruse & Nuernberg are known for tastefully selected house cuts. Their collaboration, ‘Yokohama Nights’, with British songwriter Brolin and his cashmere-soft vocals was proof for us these guys have taste and knowledge a plenty. 

With ’The Next Chapter’ Kruse & Nuernberg start a new chapter: Less House - still a lot of Soul but more on a Techno influenced groove pattern. 

’The Next Chapter’ is pure peaktime business, stripped down to simplicity and effectivity on the dancefloor. 

’The Next Chapter’ is the pair's second release on the Berlin-based imprint Exploited Records. "We've known Shir Khan, the label's boss, for years. We love the sound of his label," says Kruse. "The great thing about Exploited is that you can't really say what's coming next because every single release is surprising and the variations in style and genre are diverse. Taking the release-portfolio into account, Rampa built over the last years on Keinemusik, him adding a new EP to the labels catalogue is worth every credit of trust. And this very “Trust” EP is living up to that not only by its name. It certainly offers value for money, considering KM-releases have mostly been two-trackers. There are four cuts on this one, each one following a different approach, making it also a hella versatile record.

It opens with the titeltrack, the floor-mantra within this bunch. A ruminant groove, backed by lifting and dropping notes, launching a catchy synth-figure and adding up synth-layers until all tension drops into a break that’s as curative as a talk therapy. A track that, out of unshakable serenity, unleashes an irresistible energy.

The following “Entropie” comes closest to what could be considered a Rampa classic. Percussive loops that are scooped up with even more banging and clanking – check. Lurking synthbass in the back – check. Vocalsamples with tribal descent – double check. Generally, you’ll find a whole lot of folklore in this rhythm rich affair, that continuously is jazzing up to highest ecstasy levels.

The flipside opens with “Defiled”, led by a prominent synthline, that’s going through various filter highs and lows and gets bludgeoned by some vigorously swung claps. Raw, naked floor material lacking any flourish, that seems to even fire up a jackhammer during the break.

“Headsup” is concluding this set. Triggering the smell of watered sidewalks, lit-up only by flickering neon light, immersed in the depths of delay, this latenight-story finds some redemption and warmth within the glow of its soulful vocal samples.

Rampa - Defiled - Keinemusik (KM032)

Jimpster's renowned 'Eel Pie Island' track saw its release on the standout 10 Years of Systematic compilation last year. Now, after widespread support, label boss Marc Romboy has commissioned a set of remixes to give the track an extra lease of life for the coming summer months. Stepping up on the remix back are Keinemusik main-man and Cocoon favourite Adam Port  and former Freerange Records and Aeon Audio producer Hyenah. Today, exclusively via When We Dip, you can check out the delectable rework from mysterious artist Hyenah.

Voyeur Music is proud to introduce you the second opus of one of our most prolific artist in-house : Juan. After beeing supported by a bunch of artists in well known festivals such as Burning Man 2015, Juan comes back from his music bunker with another Tribal-Ethnic sensation. 

Since one year, the humble & rare artist performed as a resident Dj for Shmn & Attrappe Rêve parties. In his hometown, he became one of the main residents of L’After Voyeur, the capital well known Rendez-Vous, organising travels for the late morning Househeads. On the side, his first productions on the label has been supported by Ruede Hagelstein, Edu Imbernon, The Mekanism, Jaaneman, Tito, Serge Devant, Jamie Jones or Rampa, to name a few. 

Juan strikes back here with Ellipse, a spiritual & deep house journey tainted of his unique Tribal-Ethnic touch. With that Travel through percussions, African vibes and Deep moods, the parisian kid became in one year the ’Shamanic Deep House’ specialist artist. 

The pack contains also an original track named Nibari, constructed with another rainforrest catchy hook, the kind of who became his production signature. 

Added to this, Ellipse contains also remixes by the French duo Sucré Salé, heads of the well known Coco Beach Parisian festival and frequent travellers, plus a big room remix by the rising duo Fatoumata. Ellipse will be a part of a long list of upcoming magical tracks, made especially for a spiritual journey. 

So, fasten your seatbelt, and enjoy the ride.

Long-time French producer and DJ, Kiko, teams up with Belgium’s Dave Davis to create a stunning work, ‘Living In Space feat Phoebe’. The package includes a Dub version as well as a breathtaking remix from Olivier Giacomotto. Jumping right in, the original slowly opens the groove, an organic shuffle on the floor as Phoebe’s vocals tease the mix. You’ll find the rhythm is contagious, the vocals haunting and the effect on the dancefloor moving. The Olivier Giacomotto remix takes the pressure up, leaving a bigger footprint in a more dramatic fashion. Big swells, solid tech-house percussion another dose of dance-ability will give that extra boost for the late night club crowd. Savvas - Illusion Of Reality (Mobile Soul System Remix) [Magician On Duty

German DJ and producer HOSH continues to release the singles that made up his recent and excellent album, Stories From Sa Talaia. Now we are on to the final part four and again they come on his own new label, fryhide. 

First up is One More Before We Go, a smooth deep house cut with tender vocals by no other then SONO. And the timing couldn't be better as various high level DJ's picked up his Remix of Keep Control again and its all the way up there again in the Charts. Besides that catchy vocal theme the tracks features great synth work which brings the drama and as the tune rolls. Various breakdowns help keep you engaged and emotional. Ristretto Love Story is getting more techno and forward although still slow burning. A sweeping tune with lots of moody synths and slick drums working you into a state of hypnosis before a futuristic emotional breakdown. The hi hats and snare add a bite that keeps things gritty and the sci-fi vibes are strong in this one. This is fresh.

Rose Marines Saga with Italians Musumeci also known as part of Human Machine then gets a little more tripped out, with liquid synths and poised bass notes bringing a more wide open and expansive feel to the table. It's a nice change of pace to the other cuts here and will bring real tenderness to the club. Last of all, La Mer La Mer with Johannes Brecht is a frazzled and intense track with rumbling drums and smart hi hat lines that work you into a frenzy and then take you on a trip. It's also fresh as based on a 3/4 beat.

This is the final chapter of the Stories From Sa Talaia Album Parts. HOSH sets the Benchmark high for his new label.
