BABY DIWATA - I HATE BORING MUSIC MIX - 01.30.25

Baby Diwata (meaning “Fairy” in Filipino) is a Hong Kong based DJ, model, and creative. Her genre-fluid selections are tender yet unrelenting - an unorthodox mix of Deconstructed Club, Hardcore, Baile Funk, and Hyperpop sad girl edits. 

She fuses soft and melancholic melodies with distorted and heavy hitting bass lines to nurture a soundscape that taps into the deepest burrows of her queer and feminine identity.   Tying together her love for experimental sound and yearning to create safe spaces, she co-founded PANIC LIBRARY: an art/rave project focused on experimental and deconstructed club music, with a goal of diversifying HK's electronic music scene by platforming burgeoning women & queer artists in the city. 

She continues to infiltrate the underground scene of HK and SEA with her fierce and enigmatic sound, making club and radio appearances at 宀 Club (HK), Arcan (Saigon), Apotheka (MNL), HKCR, FM Belowground, Manila Community Radio, V2X Radio (Saigon), and more. She has also played for global collectives like Normie Corp (Canada), Keep Hush (UK), Cakeshop (Seoul) and more.
