Cosmic Awakenings is an organic house label run by Lemurian which fuses enchanting melodies and tribal rhythms to create captivating grooves.

Along with original music from Turu Anasi, this new release also includes stunning remixes by Madmotormiquel, plus a collaborative rework from Lemurian and Alvaro Suarez.

The label’s latest offering features two heart-warming originals by Ukrainian artist Turu Anasi, who fuses low slung vocals with mesmerising synth lines and psychedelic atmosphere. He is an artist who's featured regularly on Cosmic Awakenings along with music signed to other imprints ranging from 3000 Grad to Copycow.

German-based Madmotormiquel creates a trippy remix that has a funk inspired bassline that helps transform the track. An accomplished producer, he has also contributed tracks and remixes to other imprints including Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, Sol Selectas and Einmusika.

Lemurian is a Peruvian artist currently living in Tulum, Mexico. A talented DJ and producer, his music is inspired by the spiritual energy of his life experiences. His music often has a shamanistic vibe, and he has featured on other labels ranging from Kindisch to Sol Selectas.

Alvaro Suarez has joined forces with Lemurian to deliver a collaborative remix, but he is also an accomplished solo producer known for his many releases. Originally from Spain but currently living in Copenhagen, Alvaro Suarez has released tracks and remixes on labels such as Do Not Sit, Magician On Duty, LNDKHN and Camel Riders.

PT018: Evan Hatfield - Puria EP [Pinkturban]

Pinkturban is excited to announce the release of 'Puria EP,' a two-track project from Evan Hatfield. Hot off the back of his viral sitar videos, Evan has been tearing up dancefloors worldwide at festivals such as Lucidity and Lightning in a Bottle and even performing for the King of Bahrain!

'Puria EP' is a unique blend of organic house grooves and live Eastern instrumentation. The title track, "Puria," features vocals by Bangladeshi-born singer Arzeen, inspired by the Bengali phrase "Ananda Utsav," meaning "festival of joy." Arzeen's mysterious and emotive vocals are complemented by bouncy synths, driving tabla rhythms, and heavily swung drums.

On the flip side, "Underneath" seamlessly weaves Evan's production skills with the talents of musicians Danny Shamoun on the Turkish Ney and Jivan Gasparyan Jr. on the Armenian Duduk. This melodically rich and emotionally charged track represents a powerful musical unity.

'Puria EP' is Evan's most collaborative release yet, as he pushes the boundaries of his sound and works with a diverse group of talented musicians to bring fresh, exciting ideas to his music.

From the Ganges to the beaches of Goa, a long journey filled with encounters and exotic sounds.

"This album is the result of 20 years of experimentation in oriental electro music, making Indian music accessible to the western ear. The rather unique situation where the DJ also plays several traditional instruments and approaches a shamanic universe " tells us the french artist.


At 11 years old, Tetouze accesses to turntables and a huge collection of techno vinyls ! 
He recorded a few short electro techno albums between 1995 to 1998 and entered the crew "Beatbox" where he became a breakbeat Drum & Bass DJ.  
In 2004 he travelled to India to learn sitar and tabla and created in 2007 the band "Minimal Fusion"  in Goa with his 2 good friends Jyoti & Prana Akhanda,

He continued his musical apprenticeship and got instructed in indian violin
and bansuri, composing then a solo concert and started performing and touring around the globe.
