BABYLON is back with its sixth instalment. Jerome Price's imprint returns post pandemic to deliver nostalgia laced 'Wannabe' ready for this summer's dance floors. Tried and tested at BABYLON LABEL events hosted at Ministry of Sound Club, the label boss is gearing up for a big year with a string of releases, with 'Wannabe' spearheading a new sound for Jerome and the label. Swinging drums and warm bass grooves, sitting underneath smooth vocal samples, Jerome sprinkles New Jack vibes over this House stomper channeling a sound reminiscent of a bygone era.

Label owner Jerome Price, is kicking off the new year with his latest single ‘Comes Down'. Bass line led with a melodic hook, this has been a favourite in all of Jerome’s sets for a while now and has been doing damage on dance floors from Newcastle to London.

This style is becoming synonymous with the BABYLON sound, which continues to expand, with a years worth of releases lined up in 2023.
Jerome on the track: “With ‘Comes Down’ I wanted to create a track that could be the foundation of my DJ sets. With a simple but powerful hook it’s gonna bring a new kind of energy to any dance floor. Gassed for this, after testing it at EGG LDN then Ministry of Sound In December, this one hits hard.

The second single from BABYLON in 2023 sees the first-ever collaboration on the Label. We are so excited to have the Danish, Night / Moves.

After inviting the duo to play Babylon's take over of the world-famous Ministry Of Sound in November the collaboration was always imminent. Night / Moves have been playing to sold-out crowds across Denmark adding their own Scandinavian take on anything from groovy tech house to deep and melodic progressive. Their latest remix of Sonique's ‘It Feels So Good’ earned support from MISTAJAM on Capital Dance and was added to the Kiss Dance playlist. Earning them a nomination for the best Danish remix award, at the Denmark Club Awards.

Label head Jerome Price is continuing the run of releases in 2023 with ‘Basement’ landing on 24th February. Jerome: ‘As soon as we met, we knew we needed to get into the studio. The flow and blend of this track are exactly what I want in my sets. Night / Moves are going from strength to strength, and we are buzzing to have them on the roster.

Jerome Price, NIGHT/MOVES - Basement (Extended Mix)

The 10th release on Jerome Prices’ label sees the label boss deliver a deeper and darker single, which highlights the raw talent of his production.

This is the third release on Babylon label in 2023, setting the scene for a run of releases throughout the year. With a full label take over set for 103 at Ministry of Sound on the 30th April, it is a perfect time to showcase the future talent landing on the label.

With his ear for catchy hooks and grooving basslines, Jerome Price has been making people dance with uplifting house cuts since 2014. He's now racked up over sixty million combined streams, remixed superstar artists like deadmau5 and played dance music staples like Creamfields, SW4, Ministry of Sound and Hï Ibiza.

UK producer and DJ Jerome Price returns to BABYLONLABEL with "Jalula", a stripped-back Afro House weapon landing 27th June.

Driven by rolling percussion, melodic layers, and a hooky vocal, it's a track built for the dancefloor.

Jerome Price unveils his brand new independent label BABYLON and launches the imprint with an intoxicating two track EP which see's him channel his production skills into standout club tracks tailor made for the dance floor. 

Leading the charge is the aptly named ’Babylon’. With a progressive undertone, the lead track brings thick rolling basslines, atmospheric breakdowns and hypnotic analogue synths that build throughout. 

This is followed by ‘Some Darns’. With its warm bassline and swinging percussion, the B Side track creates a propulsive groove that is set to keep any floor dancing into the night, just as the infectious vocal commands.
