Up first, long time BoS collaborator Emcee Child lays down vocals for the devastating dancefloor stepper "Beast". 
Emcee Child has been a long time fixture in the grime and dubstep scene, performing vocals alongside everyone from Skream, Plastician and King Tubby to Benga, Bomb Squad and Photek. Bachelors Of Science have had long standing support in the past from the likes of Grooverider, High Contrast, Basement Jaxx, SPY, Lynx and many more. With this tune BoS and Child continue the tradition by weaving together clever hooks, tough beats and unique samples to 'raise you right uppa'.

AA-Side: Morning Sun
Changing the pace for the flip-side, the Bachelors return to their liquid roots for a slice of beautiful soul with rising newcomer Smote. With releases already set for Innerground and Good Looking, Smote has long been tipped as a name to watch. On Morning Sun, their catchy piano riff is set against the stunning vocals of Maria Remos and deep bass stabs to great effect. Striking that all so essential balance between haunting ballad and club roller.

Traversing the stereo spaces beyond his traditional catalog, Duffrey has been at the forefront of an aural and social injection of drum-and-bass into the bloodstream of the wider bass music landscape. Brandishing a reputation for rhythmic swagger and tight instrumental interplay, his pronounced characteristics find a natural home at elevated bpm’s, delivering both an homage to and an evolution on the sound at the center of the Shred the Infinite EP.

Marrying a system-tested and storied palette to a newfound frenetic pace, Duffrey weaves between neuro, liquid, and glitched-out overtures across the EP’s runtime. Yesterday Tomorrow

Yoko just recently made her Odyzey Music debut with the release of “Serve It Like” on Odyzey’s latest compilation Muzique, Vol. 3. Now the talented artist puts her production abilities on full display via her 4-track EP, The Masquerade. The project kicks off with the lead single “The Day We Made The Earth Stand Still” on September 22, with the full project out on September 29. The captivating melodies and undeniable sound design are a highlight throughout the bass-laden project. 

Yoko, also known as Emi Veliz, strives to recreate the realms that exist in her own mind, and mold them into sonic experiences. Although originally from Tacoma, Washington, the esteemed producer has sculpted her sound from the influences of the Colorado underground scene. The focus of the Denver based Yoko project is to deliver heavy bass with inspiration from areas such as vintage sci-fi and classical cinema.

Fusing his in-house blend of pulsing side-chains and throaty synthesis with the trappings of drum and bass productions feels, in a word, natural. Each track is an entire narrative of its own, taking listeners on multi-tiered instrumental journeys through the Tygris palate. Honing in on percussive runs and rock-solid bass lines, the EP pays its respects to the influences that shaped it while pushing Tygris’ arrangement and production skills to their next fulcrum. Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
