Don't Hold Back / Cartier is the first sampler off of the forthcoming third album from Bachelors Of Science set for release early 2015 on CODE Recordings.

Featuring the vocal talents of Dylan Germick, Don't Hold Back is a deep moody cut of vocal DnB, perfect for the changing seasons. In addition to the DnB version this release will also include a stripped back "808" version.

Cartier as the backing track brings some of the classic BoS soulful vibes that the scene has come to know and love. Lush guitars, piano chords and sultry vocals carry this melancholy track along.

Both tracks are taken from the upcoming album "II", set for release in early 2015. Enjoy, and thanks for the support!

The Chikara Project, the sexiest label you’ve never heard of, is back for it’s second release. The Bachelors are back for the second release on their new CODE Recordings label. Following the most recent success of their “Ghettos and Garden’s” remix on Dirtybird, the San Francisco based trio return to CODE, teaming up with industry heavyweights Ben Soundscape (Insiders, Metalheadz) and Kemo MC (RAM, Soul:R) fresh off his recent global hit, “Pure Gold” (Ram), for the massive "Ainokea". The tune features classic drum patters armed with heavy break fills, deep legato sub notes, spaced out atmospheres, and of course Kemo's unmistakable vocal texture with lyrics that speak truth and inspire us to keep life's priorities in check. One for the dance floor and the headphones alike. 

For the flip BoS lay down a phenomenal piece of minimal Drum & Bass in the highly anticipated "Upside Down". Having been featured on their latest Knowledge Magazine mix, this track is loaded with vibes and boasts lush chords, a killer synth hook, sultry vocals and a deep hypnotic sub bass line. For fans of Om Unit, dBridge and the minimal sound.

Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
