No unreleased were found at the time sadly, but in the meantime the Brothers have found some 90's unreleased stuff, so great chances some unreleased material will be put out later on this year. Sup y'all !?  We back at it with another Gem from B-More !  Circle Of Native Vibes AKA Cee Now Victory was  a group originally consisted of 4 members named Born, Blak, Kalife and Ali.  This Against All Odds Album was supposed to drop late 90's only a couple of cds were pressed, almost impossible to find. They had put out their 12" in 1999 and the vinyl is not cheap. So we had to press this album for the 1st time on vinyl (not exactly the same tracklisting as the OG cd album, names can vary for some tracks).  CD format will be available too of course. 11 solid songs of melodious jazzy beats mixed with pure Knowledge & Great Flows too. Time to reveal the Truth my friends. The track called Nam has been added too, this one appears on their Holy Grail Tape from 94. Don't sleep on this project. Comes with Insert. Limited to 300 CDs

Glad to announce we got Vital Signs AKA Nu Gen in the house

Vital Signs is a Baltimore based group comprised of 3 members, Roland Taylor AKA Redstorm/MC Connoisseur & George Slade AKA MC Law/Lynx,  one DJ/Producer, Brandon Ware AKA DJ B-Ware/Arkitek.

In 1992 they release their first 12" which is now became a very hard to find record. Few years later the group splits and Mc Connoisseur and MC Lynx decide to join forces with Juahar (Scientific Labs Studios) in order to bring back the heat. Called NuGen the new group recorded a lot of unreleased materials in the mid and late 90's

This project here consists of 7 Vital Signs 90's unreleased tracks + 12" (1992) tracks included and 7 NuGen 90's unreleased songs, very DOPE material. 16 tracks project

Sup y'all ?! Today, December 7th, as promised, we are back with another B2DS release ! 

Indeed, we are proud to announce that we got The Bedouin in the house. The Bedouin is a group from San Jose comprised of Tape Mastah Steph; the Producer (who was DJ for Stones throw Records at the time and who produced for a lot of Bay Area well known rap groups), and the two main Emcees/Lyricists:  Mozam & K Swift.

With their early / mid 90s project called "The Missing Link" which is a long EP (or can be considered as an album, officially called Mini Album because it has more than 6 tracks  - 7 to be exact - but it's a bit under 30 mins length), they bring us some True Words of Wisdom. 

This is an incredible Spiritual release that we had to put out before the end of times, it's the final call. This project is 100% prophetic !  I'll ask you to pay attention to the lyrics please.

The Missing Link EP/ mini album was only pressed on tape format in 1998 (self released) a few years after the tracks had been recorded, the title "Missing Link" says it all. 
 
I'm sure most of you, my Brothers & Sisters, had never heard about this album before, yet this cassette is highly sought by the Hip Hop tape collectors on discogs, however it has never been sold. Very hard to find tape, it's a real hidden Gem, Holy Grail !

I hope you are ready because this release is far from the average Christian rap you could find out there (just listen to the first track and you will understand why) It goes very deep, and needless to say that those Souls are Godsends.

The productions by Tape Mastah Steph are supa DOPE, they bring a special vibes to the whole album.  By the way, all the tracks were recorded between 1993 and 1995.

Sup y'all?! We are back to the hidden Gems with another DOPE album from the 206 (Seattle). Indeed, we are proud to announce we got the Doublevision crew in the house. 

Doublevision is composed of Bean One (the producer), Page 3 & X.Troydinaire (the two Emcees). 

In 1999 they put out their first and last album called 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑌𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑇𝑤𝑜 𝐺𝑒𝑒, a real Gem that was only pressed on CD format at the time. 

This solid project captures the sound of an era and how the 206 sounded back then. 18 tracks album, pure Heat, Boom Bap, Conscious, Hardcore styles, just as we like it. 

On a side note: Bean One produced for many talented Artists such as Living Legends, Macklemore, Black Sheep, Jurassic 5, Supernatural, X Clan, Rasco, Source of Labor, Nomad, The Silent Lamb Project,  just to name a few.

Also, in this album you will clearly hear the Do The Math influences, this is because Bean One and Vitamin D were connected, D is mentioned in their shout too. It's a small world. 

So yeah, it was about time we release this bomb album for the first time on vinyl and that we repress the CD format, the OG CD being impossible to find at a decent price.

100% Hardcore, street shit, with some incredible Boom Bap productions (cooked by Antlive). You can't beat this,  ILL Release. And nice contrast with the UNO's album, but still you will hear some conscious lyrics in this one.
On a side note, for those you knew this album you will notice we have removed a track, that was less good in our humble opinion, to replace it with an mid 90's unreleased Heat that fits the project better.


Some word from Antlive (of MF911) about this album:

"I met Al Katraz aka Roq Z in 1996 after he bought studio time. I was so impressed by him because he embodied all the skills of a top east coast New York Mc being from Detroit. I offered Roq the opportunity to record an album together in a similar fashion like Cuban Links. I would do the beats & he would rhyme with my assistance. In 1997 we released the Serum."


Antlive is a Detroit Hip Hop Veteran and with his group MF911 (Mega Force 911 or Mother Fucking Emergency) they put Detroit on the map, way before Eminem or Jay Dee. Jay Dee by the way produced a beat for MF911 for the track called 900 (in 93!) (Original Jay Dee Remix)

Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard is one of those emcees whom you can instantly recognize his flow, (Powerful and Sharp). He was one of the greatest voices in the game back then. Thus no wonder he was associated with Tupac and worked with artists such as DMX, Biggie, Missy Elliott, Sadat X etc... Living in the Bronx he started his carrier in the late 80's as a part of the Trakmasterz crew! He started getting popular with his 1st solo album in 1993 called "Give Em The Finger".

For the most part heads wonder what happened to Pudgee?! Well the fact is he didn't blow up back then because he had lost many of his friends and didn't want to be the next one. Also, he had some issues with his label at the time (which was very common). Never the less he had a lot of great songs that have never been released, So it was time to make a move and put these jewels out for your ears!...

We had to show you more of his work, that's why more than 20 years later, Back2DaSource Records is extremely proud to put out this unreleased album from him.

The album contains 10 unreleased tracks, (Original Demos, Unheard material, Unreleased work from 92-98 from Pudgee's private tapes.) Which featured Sadat X, Missy Elliott, Da King & I, Trends of Culture, Nick Wiz Productions, Trakmasterz Work, Chris Large Productions just to name a few.

Both Do The Math and the Untranslated Prescriptions compilation is a seriously DOPE projects. Again, Very Melodic Production, Poetic & Spiritual Rhymes, Produced by Vitamin D & Topspin. And this burner from 95' we knew we couldn't go wrong with that! Originally was only released on cassette (K7) format at the time, and is considered a rare gem almost impossible to find! So yes brothers and sisters if you liked Do The Math (and we know you did!) This one is for you ! Nothing but pure medication for your Heart & Soul ! If you feel down, or a bit tired of this fucked up world... This Prescription Is For You! We did our best to source the purest sounding versions of this album that is even possible due to loss of original masters due to a flood. Tracks were sourced from the original Cassette and were maticulously mastered by Vincent Ternest of Wax Flowers Studio, . And it turned out great. A real "LOST" project, more than likely to have never seen the light of day again. Enjoy, something we couldn't let go by lost to a tragedy that left it on the backburner. In all honesty a project that's close to the Back2DaSource Family and the Tribal Music Inc. Crew. Let's keep the wheels moving!! Peace from the Family

DOPENESS from 95, with beats produced by Stile Free that are very groovy, jazzy & funky at the same time while Cooley blesses a smooth flow that is filled with DOPE lyrics that will bring you back to the realness. Remastered by Dé Larchiviste from Larchiviste Records - full analog remastering for a very high quality audio experience. Amazing album that is very hard to find. The item was only available on CD and Cassette format at the time. It needed to be reissued on CD and had to be pressed on wax for the first time after almost 25 years!! This is a real must have in any serious collection.
Gatefold edition comes with insert, and is limited to 300 copies! Don't miss it!

Right on time for Easter, this Golden Egg EP chronicles their musical adventures from 93 an 94.
