Spring is coming and Back & Forth are extremely excited to deliver the first chapter from their digital only catalogue, the 'Memories EP'. Produced by Ham N Cheese (aka Chesperito & Hankat) and Emil Viril, "The Memories EP" effortlessly provides two supergrooving original cuts that are custom built for the dancefloor.

The Danish based producers blend drums, chords and voices together to create two tracks with a strong club attitude, "Memories" and "The Long Goodbye". This time round we have called in our friends, The Runners, to supply BAF with their stunning, "By The Fire Remix". A gem which goes a long way to  show off why Luke & Kevin's trade mark sound is so big at the moment. Another MASSIVE release you would be a fool to miss!! Love Comes First.

This is very rare, digitized version of Aphex Twin's set at Furthur from 1994. The promoters of the party did not record this -- it was provided to me by a 3rd party / fan on cassette tape and was digitized from that.

The original mixes "Swift Talk" and “Rudechord Funk” are two warm and smooth deep house cuts perfect to start every djset with their silky atmospheres and sweetness also if each tracks is very different from the other exploring two opposite perspectives about the meaning of contemporary deep house. Echonomist remix is a more visionary edit, a perfect meeting between Detroit and the Balearic Islands melted together in this great version that goes out of every style border and expressing at its best the evolution of the Echonomist’s sound. Alexxei N' Nig go completely in another direction for their remix adding to the original elements their speacial touch, sexy and obscure that seems made as a perfect soundtrack for a "soft porn" movie, as they like to say.Another excellent release from Cosmic Cowboys's imprint Back And Forthwhich is delivering each time quality products for well trained ears but never forgetting what dancefloor was made for. After dancing on his music all summer thanks to amazing track “Stolen Reality” featured on BAF002 together with the Varoslav Remix here is BAFDIGI005, the full EP from our german wonderboy Elef. Next to the tracks just mentioned we have the additional version of our friends Dualton (Defected / Systematic) re-editing the original mix into a more minimal deep cut that got already the support of all european greatest artists during Sonar 2011 in Barcelona and that we’re sure you’ll dig during the next months thanks to the groovy attitude for which Robert and Patrick got known for. As perfect conclusion of this new chapter of BAF’s history we have another massive track “Memory Efx” that shows us a more underground side of Elef’s music focused on a more atmospheric mood but never forgetting what dancefloor was made for!

Following on from their Record Store Day ‘Looped EP’ release, which featured remixes by Dauwd and Lubomyr Melnyk, Kiasmos – made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – return with three new tracks and a remix by Tale Of Us.

Recorded in various locations including Reykjavík and Berlin, the EP opens with ‘Drawn’, a four-minute percussion fuelled track with gentle piano motifs. ‘Gaunt’ features the addition of ambient synths and a drum loop, underpinned by slow-moving chords. Title track ‘Swept’ which the duo offered to fans as a surprise gift in form of a free download card at previous show dates, showcases a more club-oriented beat structure alongside Kiasmos’ signature emotive instrumentation. 
 
Closing the EP is a remix from Berlin-based duo Tale of Us who met Kiasmos in London and twist the original downbeat title track
into their distinctively dark aesthetic. Pulsating hats and a driving bass loop add pace as the track builds toward an epic breakdown.

The ‘Swept EP’ will be released on 12”/DL via Erased Tapes on November 20th, 2015.
