On Saturday 21st September Fortay & Avant Garde will be bringing you our final party of what we can call our British summer! 12 hours of House/Techno stretching through the day & night we are sure that this party will bring the vibe everyone loves.

There will be a gourmet BBQ running throughout the day and also a hot tub for anyone looking to kickback & enjoy the music & surrounding views.

A line-up that we are sure will please all, our main headliner heads things up at one of the biggest labels in house music.

Dex Sessions // Fortay & Avant Garde Promo Mix 2013 [DOWNLOAD]

David Glass is our guest for episode 18 of the Gangstercast - a UK based artist with an impressive discography taking in releases on Circus, Robsoul, Magnetic, Crossworld and NiteGrooves among many others. Hailing from Liverpool, David says that "the clubbing scene is a big thing there and helped me get into House. Going to nights such as Circus inspired me to DJ and make music. There's nothing better than seeing everyone happy on a dance floor listening to house music and i've been lucky to meet most of friends through House music!"

David's style reflects what the House Gangster sound means to him "Old school, underground, funky, jackin house music!" and he adds that, "The House Gangster movement means a lot to me because it keeps the people who love house music together and shows the newer generation such as myself what real house music is. The DJ's and artists involved have always stuck to their roots and not followed any trends, which I respect a lot."

"The tracks in the mix represent me as an artist because I love the old school sound of house music. How it should be played! In my sets I stick to playing underground house music with a groove, as you can hear in this mix.  The tracks on this mix are tracks i've been playing a lot, some older than others. some of these tracks are from labels and artists who have inspired me over the years to play this sort of music and produce it. The special thing about this mix is being asked to be involved in the House Gangster movement. I really appreciate it!"

Rafa Barrios - Just Do It (Miami Edit)

Roush makes an anticipated return with the release of "Rawside" by Di Chiara Brothers. The EP features 3 funky tracks, including a remix by Rich Wakley.

Di Chiara Brothers, also known as Michele and Davide, possess an intense passion for House Music that dates back to premature years. The Brothers honed their skills to develop a distinguishable sound, and once ready, entered the music scene full throttle. To date, the duo has toured South America, and played at numerous nightclubs. Now, they're ready to advance their careers to the next level with the release of this enticing EP. The release begins with the original track, "Rawside" which is a slammer say to the least. It's upbeat rhythms and spirited drum beats will keep you moving and vibing endlessly.

"Bump Ball" is an equally compelling track from the Di Chiara Brother's release. It's Tech House tunes will urge you to blast your speakers and forget the world, not unlike most of the work this charismatic duo produces.

The last track features a remix by the brilliant Rich Wakley, whose name is scattered across Beatport top charts. A producer and label manager, Wakley continues to play a major role in launching the careers of many artists. He undeniably contributes his own unique zest to the EP, which produces a remarkable, heart-pumping track worthy of being played on repeat. Wakley's superb resume undoubtedly landed him the feature on the Brothers' EP.

Solid Grooves Records co-founder PAWSA readies his second full release on the label with a remix from Denmark’s Anek.

2016 has been pivotal for Solid Grooves as not only has the event series concluded a highly successful debut season in Ibiza but the imprint has quickly cemented itself as an essential platform for house and techno, fast becoming a favourite for names like Adam Beyer, Huxley, James Zabiela, Nicole Moudaber and Groove Armada whilst dominating the upper end of Beatport’s charts. Alongside Michael Bibi, PAWSA is at the helm of Solid Grooves - a producer known for appearances on Gruuv, MOOD, Relief Records, Do Not Sleep and Lost Records.

From the off ‘Twiple Fwet’ demonstrates PAWSA’s inimitable percussive style before introducing a rumbling bassline and looped vocal sample that’s destined to keep crowds moving. ‘Angel Dust’ then meanders forward using crunchy drums as sporadic beeps and echoing effects add to the heightening tension. Concluding the package, Anek’s remix of ‘Twiple Fwet’ incorporates syncopated percussion, menacing throbs and spacelike effects.

CASA are two bother Djs and Producers from Doncaster in the UK. Ben, one half of the duo has been Djing from the age of 16 and takes a lot of influence from Funky House and UK Garage that he listened to when he was younger. Oli, the other half of the duo picked up Djing at the later age of 19, he learnt from his brother Ben so they have a very similar style and with being brothers they know exactly what's coming next.
