Background Sounds mixtapes

Wanted to record something a bit different from my usual mixes, so here's the first edition of what I hope will become a series 🤞 I wanted to reflect my everyday listens in ~30mins - these may be recently released tracks I've been listening on loop in the subway, music I've been sent and really like, sounds I released on my label, excerpts of soundtracks from games I played, old favourites I recently rediscovered. My aim was to mirror what Feb '25 was for me, soundwise, and arrange it in an eclectic, but cohesive way - think late '00s blog mixtapes for reference. 
I'll post the tracklist in a few days: it includes sounds ranging from experimental pop to weird breaks, ambient, post-punk-ish vibes and game OST indeed. Amongst others, there's a track from our latest Syrinx Music release & forthcoming music from Plor & Nodolabel. I hope you enjoy it - this is Background Sounds Feb' 25!

Background Sounds - Feb '25

Here's the second volume of my mixtapes reflecting my monthly listens ⏪ just like last month, my aim was to take cues from late 00s blog mixtapes & come up with an eclectic mix bringing together sounds from different realms, that made March 2025 for me - recent songs I've been listening to on loop, tracks I've rediscovered, sounds I've been obsessed with & more. It goes from ambient to post-punk, bass music to shoegaze, video game OSTs to IDM & weird raps. It's a bit more intense than last month's but so was my month - I hope you enjoy it 🙏
