Morker also know as 'Darkness' in Swedish is the brainchild of Rukshan Weeraratne, starting his career as a DJ in 2009 under the alias 'Ruki', he was involved in many underground events as well as projects developing and building his trademark as a reputable DJ/Producer. His diverse taste of music has given him the edge of being one of the most consistent and versatile DJ's in our generation. Rukshan's latest project 'Morker' is a mythical character created by him which incorporates with his project 'Black Lake Recordings'. He considers Morker as one of the representatives of this mythical Lake which is also the collaborative creation with his business partner Pablo Campbell.
His love for Darker sounds have grown over the years and this is shown by his musical creations as well as his DJ sets, giving the listeners an emotional ride throughout. With a love for the unorthodox style of mixing creating raw dark energy making the listeners lose themselves within.

Slam are back once again with another intense and hard hitting release on their Soma imprint. The Bunker Nisca EP has the Glasgow duo really ramping up the pace with four explosive new tracks that have been tried and tested on some of the world’s best dance floors.

Title track Bunker Nisca sets the tone nicely, firing on all cylinders with its rave inspired synths and intense percussion. Reactor keeps things hard as nails with a fat, distorted kick drum leading the way with simple yet effective rhythms and tones creating the energy. Vengeance brings out the more hypnotic elements while still keeping the overall feel rough and ready. Closing on Rapid Progression, Slam ramp up the BPM to a furious 140 hitting home with broken beats and caustic synths

Backlight is a Belgian artist, producer and DJ who got his start on renowned labels such as Bonzai Records, Yüna beats records, SMR Underground, MOTZ and Techno Wereld. More recently, he launched his own label, Light Modulator Records, on which his latest EP 'Psychedelic Therapy' was released. His music is a unique blend of techno, hard groove, hard techno and trance sounds that captivates listeners and transports them into an immersive world of sound. Thanks to his passion for music, Backlight continues to push the boundaries of artistic creativity in his productions and performances as a DJ.
