CLMxGUN is happy to present Chain of Whispers, a two-fold EP exploring further collaborative production processes. Like a murmur in the wind, a secret being delivered from ear to ear, it is born from a playful approach to sound manipulation and its transformation when passed from one hand to another. An embodiment of how music can be altered by each and every contribution.

Through a defined set of constraints based on the Telephone game, the concept is simple : each successive track is a remix of the previous one, and the contributors could not hear what was done before them. So on and so forth. A continuous cycle of appropriation and re-interpretation.

From this experiment resulted two 7-track EPs, two chains which gathered 11 artists, each with their own identity and their own input. With each new link in the chain, the sound mutates, speeds up or slows down - some of its elements are exacerbated, while others are concealed or juxtaposed to new ones. 

The first chain welcomes Désiré, HeedLess, indigoblue, Lithe, migu, and SNKLS. It starts from soothing bells and angelic voices to end up with rhythmic patterns and sharp impacts. A journey through a collective world with its own soundscapes and wonders.

"Veneno de Hada" es un relato full fantasía conurbana, inspirado en las historias que se pasan boca en boca, que no se sabe si son reales y no, pero que no importa. Nace en lo cotidiano del paisaje de La Matanza, el recorrido del día a día, los bondis, los patios baldíos, y que para evitar que sea siempre igual, la mente le va dando vida a historias. Pura mitología matancera.

"Veneno de Hada" it is a full urban fantasy story, inspired by the stories that are transmitted by word of mouth, that it is not known if they are real or not, but it does not matter. It is born in the daily life of La Matanza landscape, the day-to-day route, the urban transport, the vacant lots, and that to avoid being always the same, the mind gives life to stories. Pure Matanza´s mythology.

Hailing from Paris, duo Amor Satyr & Siu Mata make their debut on NHS with two mutated dance hall inspired cuts laden with manic energy and seriously hard drum work. Following up their debut collaboration on Hiedrah Club de Baile comprised of two tracks focused on the 150bpm range, the pair slow down things to around the 100bpm mark. This has no effect on the frantic energy however, as both releases maintain a level of madness through the double time percussion programming and warped melodic aesthetics; an offering of truly innovative club tracks from these two fine producers.

@slowmotiondancer is a music moniker of a Prague based artist, university teacher and producer Dominik Gajarský. Characterised by evocative vocals in contrast with slow, sober sounds, his musical output is slightly sardonic yet oozing with emotion. The last album Empathy was released via the Genome 6.66Mbp label.
