Here's a fun funk ep I knocked up with a bunch of late 80s and early 90s gear. For those interested: 

Yamaha DX21, Yamaha VSS-200, Yamaha PSS-680, Casio VL-Tone, Nintendo Game Boy, Microsoft Wavetable Synthesizer and Akai EWI 4000s. 

Mixed on a Amstrad Studio 100 with a Yamaha FX770 for effects. 

The rest is FL Studio.

Lately I got myself Daytona USA for the Sega Saturn, and since I've been able to FINALLY WIN after 20+ years, I decided to celebrate by working on another Daytona mix! 
This time I didn't go too cray on it as I tried to keep the main characteristics of the original tune while giving it a "remaster", "rearranged" spin on it :P 
It's not your average RoBKTA sound, so let's say that for this one I wanted to experiment a bit :D

Undertale anniversary! -confetti and party poppers-

This one took me a few days when it hit me that the anniversary to one of my favorite games was just around the corner, and I've always wanted to arrange my own version of the song since I first heard it. Undyne's easily one of my favorite characters in the game.

Do you remember? That heavenly melody? The one and only?? SQUID SISTERS! I'm unbelievably happy over the fact that Toru Minegishi and Shiho Fujii managed to outdo themselves with the final boss theme in Splatoon 2 after the first one was such a banger! I figured it would only make sense that I make a follow-up arrangement to the one I made in 2015. Please enjoy, and continue to stay fresh!

Splatoon 2 - Spicy Calamari Inkantation [8-bit; VRC6]

Arranging this song was a lot of fun because it really reminds me of the Mega Man X series soundtrack, so I tried out some wacky synth leads and N163 buffers for the bass. This track was particularly arranged for CEOtaku 2017 by yuzukimasu's (https://twitter.com/yuzukimasu) request (and popular demand :P). I mean... I would have done it anyway because I love this song (Raito is incredible) but the tournament gave me reason to do it faster! Please tune in this weekend \o/

The first thing I did when I heard Octo Expansion drop was look up the final boss theme and get right away to arranging, but a few gratuitous setbacks here and there had me postpone this to make it the visual spectacle it turned out to be, and I couldn't have done it without @jtangc yet again!!

One of my favorite things of Octo Expansion's soundtrack -- and Splatoon as a whole -- is how strong the recurring motif usage is, like how they build up the final boss theme with the Mission Complete jingle!! Can't expect anything less from the audio team at this point. Hope you enjoy!

Rude Buster has this unusual thing where it's ever-so-slightly off pitch from the key of F# minor, so it made arranging this a pain in the butt! Thanks Toby!! For this arrangement I used the N163 chip to complement the arrange with a grittier bass to give it more oomph. Hope you enjoy it!

Never in my years did I expect to be into idol anime, but I suppose Zombie Land Saga being a light parody on the genre with zombies thrown into the mix makes it largely different from most idol anime out there. This song is also fantastic! The verses were insanely fun to work on.
