Release Info: 
Alex’s first outing in 2018 is a diverse package that displays his customary variety of moods and textures. Exos demonstrates Alex’s command of intricate layering techniques, and jacking rhythmic patterns sure to rock the most discerning of floors, building to a satisfying synth laden climax.

Array by contrast, adheres to a darker and more melancholic mood, building a haunting tension throughout, and driving relentlessly and menacingly forward at all times. 

Yotam Avni has been catching many people’s attention with his recent outings on Innervisions and Hotflush, and here the talented DJ/Producer provides perfect remix interpretation for Array: mounted on a deliciously solid groove, Yotam’s arrangement continually teases and surprises, introducing esoteric percussion and sensual synth flourishes to create an atmospheric alternative.

As with all Alex Niggemann releases, these new tracks mirror the DJ sets that he is famed for, focussing on conjuring up the spirit of classic and timeless music, whilst always pushing boundaries and moving things forward.

Japanese artist Kai a.k.a. Kaitaro Nakajima was born in 1977 and grew up in Tokyo. He started DJing at the age of 17 and took his first steps by spinning hip hop records. He later got into the world of minimal techno and house music in 2003. Since then he has been actively producing his own minimal tracks. He then moved his production studio to Berlin and has been performing live since 2007. Currently based in Berlin, Kaitaro is concentrating on live performances and track production.

Bio:
Ben Wright is a musician based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. He is well known as a guitarist, facile in many genres, and a producer and mix engineer for national and international acts (D Numbers, Joe West, Man Hurls Hedgehog, Drastic Andrew). Mi is the electronic music Ben makes on his own time. The music of Mi is playful and experimental, deep and melodic and danceable by design. Ben recklessly creates his own samples using found objects, field recordings and acoustic instruments as well as analog drum machines and synthesizers and shapes them into architecturally layered compositions rich in dimension and harmonic bliss. Mi has releases with Archipel Records (Canada), Make Mistakes (US) and Aufseit Records (Germany) and has performed at such prestigious festivals as Communikey (Boulder, Colorado) and Mikser (Belgrade, Serbia). Ben is also a founding member of the post-rock/electronic trio, D Numbers, half of the upstart techno duo, Public Address and a co-founder of the Santa Fe based record label, Mesa Recordings.
