For episode 56 we have Klang, he has become somewhat of a notable figure in Gothenburg's rave scene and is also one of the co-founders of CXVII collective. He's been captivated by electronic music ever since he stumbled upon Yello - You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess when he was eight years old, and have been listening to a lot of genres throughout the years. Something that shows in his sets as he likes to mix different genres and limit it to just one the entire set.

Interview with Klang:

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I kinda got peer pressured into learning the basics by my friends that DJ because I know a lot of music, and they wanted to see what I would play. It didn't take long for me to get completely hooked.

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Diverse, exciting, memorable.

Q: Your best set in 2024/2025?
A: My set at CXVII the ninth of november last year was a game changer. The crowd absolutely loved it, and I've gotten a lot of praise because of it since then.

A: Dica - Innervision

Q: A hidden gem in Gothenburg you'd like to share?
A: Bivac if we are talking pubs, and XTND'D/RAZOR if I am not going to be biased and say CXVII.

PAVLE PHIAL
Known for his sense of rhythm and ability to take the audience on an exciting musical journey, Pavle Phial has established himself in the regional techno scene. His sound, which blends hypnotic groove rhythms, energetic basslines, and precise transitions, regularly fills dance floors across Zagreb and beyond.
Pavle honed his skills performing in legendary underground clubs like Sound Factory and Depo, where he built a reputation as a DJ with an impeccable ability to read the crowd. His sets are emotional journeys, starting with slow, gradual buildups and leading to explosive climaxes that leave the audience breathless. He is currently collaborating with numerous collectives, including Rejvnesansa, with the goal of fostering a more positive and innovative atmosphere in the party scene.
In addition to being a solo performer, Pavle is also known for his dynamic back-to-back sets with DJs like Yvonne and M.acke, where he blends his sound with different styles to create unforgettable musical moments. One of his most notable b2b performances was at last year’s event at Club Depo, where his mixes set the entire club in motion.
Beyond DJing, Pavle plans to expand into event organization, focusing on innovative concepts that connect audiences and performers on a deeper level. His ambitions go beyond Croatia, and he is currently working on his first original productions with the goal of performing in international clubs and festivals.

Bad Balance: 

Malmö-based Bad Balance, founder of the mixcast series and club concept Malmö Techno Tales and one of the co-founders of the collective Kenopsia, began his DJ journey in 2020. It all started when he and a few friends took the leap to organize open-air events on the outskirts of Malmö. Since then, he has become a household name in his hometown and has had the opportunity to play at some of the most renowned clubs in Copenhagen.

He usually gravitates towards a mix of hypnotic and groovy techno sounds, with a penchant for blippy sounds, rhythmic beats, and round kicks.
