Петя Гиндилис aka Mix Master Kutyma — музыкант, рэпер, диджей и основатель независимого лейбла FU FU RECORDZ!(@thefinestfufu) Петя имеет прямое отношение к московским коллективам 555ТРАКС555, Digidon (@digidononredoctober) и РАДОНЕЖ BEATZ (@radonezhbeatz) — последний он основал в 2018 году вместе со своим соратником и другом Серёжей Rakhmilove (они вместе занимаются 555ТРАКС555). Название отсылает к селу в Подмосковье, где рядом со станцией «Радонеж» у Пети и Серёжи расположена дача.

Следующие полтора часа главный поклонник рейв-культуры, хип-хоп-семплирования и весёлого звука мастерски жонглирует образами и эмоциями слушателя, погружая его в четыре временных отрезка (иначе говоря — в музыкальную историю от 60-ых до 90-ых годов). Представьте себе, что вы на ярком солнечном пляже с магнитофоном в песке, на кассете крутятся главные хиты лета 87 года, а через мгновение вы уже в рейверском ангаре в состоянии эйфории и свободы. Далее вы спускаетесь на лифте калифорнийского отеля из шестидесятых под курортную library music, а в следующую минуту до вас доносится озлобленный речитатив русского гетто-квартала середины 90-х.

В ту ночь селекция Kalione из weird байле и металлического реггетона уничтожили танцпол. Мы посчитали, что вы обязаны услышать его.

Как продюсер Kalione работает с new wave club (post & hyper pop music), но в её треках также слышны отсылки к эмбиенту, гитарному дрону, деконстрактед клабу и софт-кору, пронизанные северными ветрами утерянной Вальхаллы. A new mix for the calm series was prepared by the creator of a musical project from Moscow – eolet.

For a long time eolet had been playing the role of a listener and came to writing music only when he reached that very personal point of listening, realizing that that’s it, now I have something to say too. Today we will meet that listener, whose discoveries led him to start own music production.

You could hear his debut performance at Beatriz Gardens at last year's Signal Festival.
This summer, @bea3trizzz launched a label and on October 13 is going to release the first collaboration `Voices` betwen eolet and the creator of the previous calm series mix – @gassenengel.

A new mix for our profound series was recorded by Leonid Kravchenko, a music observer, author of the telegram channel about strange music «What's That Noise?», a co-founder of the project «Tapehood», which popularizes cassette culture. He was one of the curators of the series of events «Sound Methods» at the Center of Contemporary Art named after. S. Kuryokhin. He gives lectures on music, performs with cassette and digital DJ sets, and organizes concerts and parties dedicated to underground music.

«In this mix, I collected both things that I’ve been listening to a lot lately, as well as that I haven’t gotten around to for a long time, and now I’ve finally found a reason. There are recordings from friends and musicians that I only recently learned about, an unrelease that is still awaiting its drop, as well as a track that I directly contributed to the creation of (my own recordings would not fit here either in terms of aesthetics or artistic value level). In this selection you can hear parts of piano, vocals, organ, guitar, theremin, Martenot waves and even a refrigerator. Stylistic reference points will be ambient, drone, electroacoustic and modern academic music. I wanted to make the mix meditative and peaceful, but at the same time full of interesting details - and this is what came out of it»

The life-affirming selector mix was recorded for us by Moscow musician and event organizer, art director of the creative association @okno-club and co-founder of the once existed promo band @altmoscow - Prasdov. In early March, he self-released the album 'Things Happen'. 

«This mix for me is a mix about the arrival of spring. The playlist for it was collected for a few years. It contains respected electronics maestros, as well as some unreleased works of friends and soundcloud favorites. I tried to put the mix together in such a way that it would be pleasant to walk to along a sunny road - in the city, suburbs or mountains by the sea - and be in a good mood. The first track of the mix (after the intro - a dictaphone recording of a conversation with a cab driver) is a composition by Grisha Gorozhanin from a cassette we released on Alta. As Grisha said, the track is based on a recording of a street saxophonist playing at Chistye Prudy, whom he met while he was walking in the beginning of spring to get flowers. Having founded his project in 2018, he began exploring soundscapes, combining elements of dark ambient with unconventional musical techniques. In recent years, his work has been featured in the catalogs of labels such as Fuselab, Glubina Neba, and Chitra Records.

Ens Dormir – W Λ V E S C Λ L M

We are excited to introduce you to a new story brought to life by Moscow-based multidisciplinary artist Apollinaria Kaspars, also known as Settima Tacca.

Despite her cinematic album Wondrous Feelings of Ages Long Gone released on vinyl last year, her latest self-published release, Demos 4 Nobody, has a much more outsider feel. It leans heavily on raw rhythms, minimalist synths, and guitar experiments. Although written four years ago, Polina’s discography today includes another venture in a similar vein: her collaboration with Ksenia Kruchinski in the krautrock and no-wave band Ksyusha. In 2023, they released an album titled Polina.

“I’m sitting in a house in a village near the town of Mozhaysk, looking out at a field through the window. Beyond it there is a mysterious and slightly unsettling young birch grove, an icy river called Iskona, and my favorite little forest with a ravine. That’s where my dog hunts foxes while I sit on different stumps, sipping chaga that tastes like Coca-Cola. When I write music, I take breaks to gaze out this window. Late autumn feels like early spring, except in spring, all the tall grass is flattened after a long sleep under the snow.

This is my mix, recorded in late spring, left lying in the summer grass, and soaked by autumn rains. It has become just as mysterious and slightly unsettling as that grove. But only I know this.”

A new mix has been recorded for us by @fmsao, aka Evgeny Shchukin — a southern cultural figure, music producer, and co-founder of the independent label @fuselab. We've encountered his musical work twice already in our numbered series. The first time was through the project WOLS, where Zhenya explores the edges of hyperpop — a project that recently evolved into a full band performing instrumental live shows. The world of FMSAO, on the other hand, blends the beauty of nature with artifacts of a not-so-distant future. It’s here that his more abstract ambient forms emerge — built on dotted minor-key sequences, enveloping pads, and deeply pulsating rhythms. For the next two hours, we’ll be immersed in his chillout zone, exploring the boundless manifestations of ambient. Sit back and relax 🤍

«Compiled, recorded, and mixed in Krasnodar with love for everyone. It features various versions of today’s chillout. A few lo-fi ambient hits from TikTok. A lot from me, from FMSAO. I’ve shared these in my Telegram channel — they’re mostly unreleased, I call them fixes. Fixes, because I dig up an old track and keep 'fixing' it until it turns into chillout.Even though the mix is long, it’s crafted to loop seamlessly — the beginning and end flow together harmoniously. You can listen to it on repeat, in a calm and effortless way. This is the chillout zone.

I also included tracks released over the years on our label, Fuselab. There’s a track by Hoavi, our dear friend Kirill. And one by Monokle — who’s also been released on our label. So yeah, from the heart. The mix is quite long — but I never make short ones anyway, so this is business as usual.»

One is a hundred-year-old ancient woman — wise, experienced, and longing only for peace.

A new mix in our calmness series was recorded by @rab_neba — a music producer and designer who has been working in ambient, electronic, and hip-hop genres since 2012. He co-founded projects such as Goodbye Porsche (drone, trap, shoegaze, 2013) and Tomb de Narcise (post-punk, 2014). In 2023, his debut album (A)Iphoria was released on the Imum Coeli label (@alldayfreeself). His style blends elements of electronic music, ambient, vaporwave, and dungeon synth. A two-hour vinyl ode dedicated to the golden times of minimal and tech-house of electronic producer, DJ and collector of vinyl records — Andrey Kurokhtin, known as Shine Grooves.
This year Andrey launched the @hanagasumi label — a Japanese word that describes a great variety of flowering trees and translates as «blooming haze». The label has already released the first vinyl and the next one has been announced as well. The other day Shine Grooves is opening a record shop of the same name, based in Yekaterinburg. And Andrey is also a member of the improvisation trio «Ryabina» (@rowanberryspace) and the creative association «Oberton».

«The mix was recorded from vinyls in the one winter evening. I wanted to plunge into the millennium's time, namely  2000. In this mix there are many records from such labels: Force Inc, Kompakt, Traum Schallplatten, Mille Plateaux, Ladomat 2000 - the flagships of the first-class electronics of that time. Of course there are nowaday releases too, for example this fresh test press of the second release from my Hanagasumi label».
