Calling all music lovers. The sun has set, and we're settling in for The Night.

Hosted by me, Mark L, each week I'll be unlocking a vault of musical discoveries and curating themed evenings. From life-affirming Soul to 80s synth, to head-nodding Hip-Hop, and the swagger of Britpop, you can forget about robots picking playlists; this is pure, unadulterated love for music.

And because Fiesta FM is all about celebrating Latin music, every show we'll take a little detour to our legendary and imaginary South American Jukebox in the corner. Flipping a coin, and seeing what gem The Latin Quarter throws our way!

The Night also believes music is a beautiful circle. So, whether we're exploring classics or scrolling through the latest music on your phone, I'll be connecting the dots. Whether it's a classic that inspired a modern hit or a modern banger sampling something from the past, you'll hear it on The Night.

Yet it was a time in RnB, Soul and Hip Hop that was just plain FUN.. even if a little cheesy at time.  Clubs where filled with oversized suits, high-top fade hairstyles, and don't forget those parrachute baggy trousers.   And the clubs was actually filled with people who wanted to dance..  Yup we used to dance all night New Jack Swing..
