Teenage Dirtbag Cover Uke Jam

I'm a little late with this one, but here goes. The theme for Week 52 of 2016 was too good to pass up: "End of the World."

This is a heavy trap beat containing samples from "The Plagues," my favorite song from The Prince of Egypt OST. That OST is just plain epic. No other way to put it. When I think of the end of the world, I think of chaos unleashed. In my eyes, that's what the 10 plagues of Egypt represented. Each one has a perfectly natural explanation, but it's mind-blowing to imagine an angry deity unleashing torment and destruction on an entire civilization. In a sense, the deity becomes the scourger. 

I intended to make this track more Trap-like. Meaning, adding more snare/hot rolls, incorporating heavy synths, and featuring bomb-ass 808 and friends. It's something I'll continue practicing, but I think I got a bit closer this time. I didn't have too much time to mix and master, but that can come later.
