On his latest offering, &ME is delivering quite the achievement. Co-produced with Black Coffee, the a-side „The Rapture Pt. III” obviously continues the narrative of its predecessors. But unlike in the motion picture business, where sequels tend to be watered down rehashes of the original, those Raptures are just getting better and better. It’s all here, the dense and gentle build-up, the tender piano lines, the just overwhelming emotion. Safe bet, we’re dealing with a future classic here.

I was given the honor of playing for @opulentchillmusic at 5pm on burn night (Saturday) at this year's Burning Man. I contemplated leaving the event when driving a friend to Reno on the Thursday before but had spent more than a month collecting and cultivating some music and returned to BRC beyond excited to play... until the weather took a turn for the worst and forced me to miss my set while sheltering in place (you may have seen the news).

A friend and I spent more than eight hours exiting the city (the time it took to reach actual road/pavement) yesterday, and I'm beyond grateful to be home. I wanted to record a mix while my feelings about the past few days and our shared experiences (trauma bonding?) were still fresh. I hope you enjoy!

Thank you so much to Opulent Chill for the opportunity to play and to the amazing friends who took me in when it was clear that my tent situation was not going to work with the incoming weather. Badbwoy, an emerging artist and producer, is swiftly gaining recognition in the music scene. His journey began in early November 2023 when he and his co-producer, Mo, first started experimenting with new musical styles. With no predetermined plan, they aimed to create something unique, blending melodic elements with Afro influences. This creative experimentation in the studio led to the birth of Badbwoy's debut track, "Better Off Alone," which was released on December 15th through his own label imprint, Subsonik Recordings.

Badbwoy's inaugural record, "Better Off Alone," quickly gained traction, followed by his second record, "The Light." Both tracks received immediate support from the Keinemusik legends: Adam Port, &ME, and Rampa. The unreleased tracks made their debut on November 11th during the Keinemusik Cloud event at Soho Garden in Dubai. Shortly after, Badbwoy collaborated with Palane in the studio, resulting in a unique blend of French vocals and Afro House in their EP, "Les Saints," which also garnered support from Keinemusik.
