Nearly two years since their last release on Bade Records, and a year since their last original EP, Brothers Black return home to their London imprint with ‘Justify’, a focussed four track EP in their trademark style.

The brothers open the EP with ‘Long Way Back’, a rolling ambient piece combining distorted washing chords with spacey choral chords and space-age detailing. The title track ‘Justify’ follows, combining  heads-down, slamming percussion with vocal sampling from one of pop’s greatest legends. The third track, ‘Bloodhound’, is an effective, frantic tool that combines rolling percussion with an eerie lead and swirling strings. Finally, the brothers round off the EP with chained, a groove-orientated FM tool with sharp industrial stabs.

Veteran producer BinaryFunction has been honing his craft since the mid-90s. He has delivered an expertly produced three-track EP consisting of exquisite acid techno that draws upon his 90s influences. He kicks off the release with 'ACKF1N', a breakbeat acid banger sure to send any dance floor alight. C0ntr0l follows, a deep hypnotic track with harsh industrial tones and fidgety percussion, perfect for bringing out those 'eyes closed' moments of the night. 'C0NF1GERR0R' is a raw acid jam with high resonance stabs and free moving bells, skilfully executed to create a tense track to round off the EP.

Bade Records launch the first vinyl release on the label, with a four-track EP by label co-founders Brothers Black and Tape Fear.

“2x2 Series 1” is a split vinyl, showcasing the individual styles of the duos. Brothers Black kick off the A1 with ‘Extrasensory’, a shimmering tool with luscious, uplifting pads and a looping lead. Their second contribution on the A2, ‘Late Night Call’, is a driving euphoric weapon, perfect for the early hours of the morning.

On the other side, Tape Fear showcase their unique sound for the first time. ‘Jump System’, the lead track, provides a complex blend of old-school breaks, euphoric pads and vocal samples that will be received well in any setting. ‘Turn That Thing Off’ offers something different with a fierce 808 groove and unsettling acid lead, perfect for the early hours.

BADE012 will drop on 14th September 2018.

Bade Records are back with a fresh new talent, Tom Place. Hailing from Essex, UK, Tom is a veteran producer who started out in the dubstep era and has honed his craft over the past decade. Bade are privileged to kickstart what is sure to be an exciting path with a varied 4 tracker EP from Tom.

First off is the EP title and title track, Corrupted Circuits. Teaming a pounding low end with a frenetic electro lead, this is one for dark basements and warehouses at peak hours.

Following up is Organic Motion, a deeper, stepping track that showcases Tom’s deep UK routes. A drum n’ bass inspired bass line, sharp percussion and vocals come together to form a deeper, well considered track.

Hard Ground follows. Taking no prisoners, this weapon combines a fast tempo, monstrous kick and electro inspired percussion to great effect, switching from a 4/4 to electro grove halfway through.

Rounding off the EP is Solid Lines, a more traditional and highly effective electro track that teams a bubbling synth line with vocals.

The track has received high-profile support already, making its way to dance floors across Europe.

The melodic tone of the release continues with Dahu's remix, a Berlin based artist making a reputation for himself on the Steyoyoke imprint. A track that delicately balances heavy, driving bass with fragile and captivating arpeggio.

Portsmouth artist Kris Davis, a relative newcomer to the scene having released his first EP on Subjekt Recordings, brings a mature and complex rework to the fold, building the track up to a climax that will surely have listeners on their feet.

And last but not least, Italian artist Fedele demonstrates his individual production and capability away from the Agents of Time moniker. Fedele’s remix provides an unparalleled groove combined with progressive elements that certainly differentiate from the Dahu and Kris Davis remixes, leaving a well rounded release.

James Sison is a young DJ and producer from London and co-owner and founder of Bade Records. Over the last two years James has made a name for himself on the London circuit picking up a regular residency at esteemed promoters Tessellate. James has cultivated a unique, deep and melodic production style that shines through the ‘Napier Lake’ EP. Working with London-based vocalist Clover, ’Stolen’ is a beautifully dark and emotional piece. The title track ‘Napier Lake’ showcases James’ ability to translate delicate melodies to the dance floor. Both tracks are highly listenable in both club and personal environments.

Speaking Minds have delivered an exceptional remix of the title track Napier Lake, showcasing their dark, emotive sound. Simone Sinatti and Marco Paladin formed the duo in 2012 and have remixed the likes of DJ Sneak and Flowers and Sea Creatures, releasing on labels such as Cityfox and My Favourite Robot.

Hailing from Brighton, UK, Stratowerx is co-founder of newly established Caught London Sleeping and an up and coming talent with releases on Matt Walsh’s Clouded Vision and Construct. The elusive producer has a trademark gritty analog style and whose productions have already been supported by the likes of Daniel Avery, Craig Richards and Mosca.
His ‘Anomalies’ EP showcases Stratowerx's unique and versatile talents, teamed with a remix from veteran producer and experimental talent Perseus Traxx. The release kicks of with ‘Just Two’, a fidgety electro-inspired trip that teams acidic flutters with shuffling hi-hats. ‘Point Four’ follows with a distinctive, driving groove and frantic basslines that’s perfect for peak-time hours on the dancefloor. Stratowerx finishes his offerings with ‘Slix o Six’, a deep, emotional and classy cut that draws again from electro influences. Originally from London and now residing in Berlin are techno duo Brothers Black. With forthcoming releases on Gynoid Audio, Counter Pulse, Voxnox Records and Safer At Night, their analog sound is becoming increasingly familiar on the techno circuit. ‘Network’ showcases both the functional and emotional sides to the duo. The title track kicks off the release, combining driving percussion with delicate and hypnotic synth work. ‘Clarice’ follows in a more fidgety style, layering an FM-style lead with a haunting pad and vocal. ‘Analog Relief’ contrasts the other two original tracks with an uplifting, luscious pad and 90s-influenced lead, perfect for the early hours of the morning. Sept showcases his trademark sound with his remix of ’Network’, teaming rolling percussion with mesmerising synths to create a peak-time weapon.

First off is the EP title and title track, Corrupted Circuits. Teaming a pounding low end with a frenetic electro lead, this is one for dark basements and warehouses at peak hours.

Following up is Organic Motion, a deeper, stepping track that showcases Tom’s deep UK routes. A drum n’ bass inspired bass line, sharp percussion and vocals come together to form a deeper, well considered track.

Hard Ground follows. Taking no prisoners, this weapon combines a fast tempo, monstrous kick and electro inspired percussion to great effect, switching from a 4/4 to electro grove halfway through.

Rounding off the EP is Solid Lines, a more traditional and highly effective electro track that teams a bubbling synth line with vocals.

Nearly two years since their last release on Bade Records, and a year since their last original EP, Brothers Black return home to their London imprint with ‘Justify’, a focussed four track EP in their trademark style.

The brothers open the EP with ‘Long Way Back’, a rolling ambient piece combining distorted washing chords with spacey choral chords and space-age detailing. The title track ‘Justify’ follows, combining  heads-down, slamming percussion with vocal sampling from one of pop’s greatest legends. The third track, ‘Bloodhound’, is an effective, frantic tool that combines rolling percussion with an eerie lead and swirling strings. Finally, the brothers round off the EP with chained, a groove-orientated FM tool with sharp industrial stabs.
