HEAVEN TRAP = Euphoric flowing chords, 808's, and vocal chops

This song started with an emotion. After being inspired by Above & Beyond's recent acoustic album we felt compelled to create this track. The idea started as a completely laid back chill edit, but as you will hear it grew into something much much bigger than that. We really are trying to step into new territory with this sound and hope you guys feel the positive emotion we are trying to convey. This is going to be the last song in our live sets for the next year.

So a couple of days ago it was Sharla's Birthday. She happens to be  JVlogger (ShalainJapan) on YouTube that I watch on a regular basis. I promised her a remix of one of her vids for her birthday. Shara and her friend Mira (Kanadajin3) have a series of videos called "Crazy Japanese snack time" where they try out some Japanese snacks most people outside of Japan have never seen before. 

I took some audio from my favorite Japanese snack time video where they happen to try out some Natto flavored umaibo, and remixed the video into this crazy track.  

Sharla and Mira two are among some of the funniest and informative YouTubers about Japan out there. If your into Japan, Japanese culture, or just like to laugh out loud you should check out their YouTube Channels:

P.S. Nattō is a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans fermented with Bacillus subtilis, aka rotten soybeans. Its an acquired taste.

Emotional Rescue returns to reissue the lost Soul-Jazz-Folk classic, International Times. Fully remasterd from the original tapes, including several unreleased bonus tracks in CD and Digital formats.

An album recorded full of hope following Jaki and John’s relocation from the hippy-haven of Glastonbury to a rural commune in France, their dreams are expressed over these soul-jazz wrapped songs.

After finding limited success as artists in the major-label dominated world of the corporate 1970s – Jaki, via a solo LP for Epic and as backing singer for Alan Parson and John, as a respected session musician – decided to literally break free, physically and mentally, from their past and start a new life with their young family and friends in tow.

The timeless lyrics and heartfelt optimism within are manifest to their dreams and beliefs and offer a beautiful encapsulation of the choices deep down we all share.

Moving out of their folk background they, accompanied on drums and keys by their young sons, matched their newfound (and at times pop) lyrics within a soul-jazz melting pot.

Finally available again on LP, plus a CD version with unreleased bonus tracks, this privately pressed album may have become a lost classic amongst the post-punk sounds of the early 80s, but 30 years later it’s dreams and uplifting hopes within are as profound today as their intentionall those years ago.

To be pressed on 180 grams virgin vinyl, the album will finally be available again in Summer 2012 with CD to follow in Summer 2013.
