OCCULT MESSAGES

The enchanting tale woven into the EP draws inspiration from a personal journey that unfolded between the realms of dreams, and reality. In a deep slumber and immersed in a rather eerie dream, I found myself walking along a dim path in a park adorned with benches. On one of those benches, I suddenly came across a greyish white owl. I was captivated by its presence, as its gaze was constantly focused on me. As I was approaching it, there was no trace of fear in its reaction, while I, on the other hand, was frightened by its stare.

In real-time, my little brother — OpeNmiNd Paul — was at his home, watching a documentary on supernatural phenomena. The documentary showcased the appearance of UFOs, as well as the ongoing abductions of people in a state of sleep paralysis. As the narrative unfolded, UFOs appeared in people's dreams, taking on the form of greyish white owls. The following day, I met up with my brother, being astounded as I was sharing the dream I had experienced. In turn, he informed me about the documentary he had watched, expressing how it had also filled him with fear.
Clearly, an indirect bond intertwined between us, as peculiar as it was meaningful… or could it have been a sign of a possible abduction?

This is a story based on true events that happened 10 years ago.
Through this story, the project “Synesthesis” was born in collaboration with OpeΝmiΝd Paul.

The scent of bark, fungi and wet moss filling your nostrils while you surrender to the spirit of the woods. A familiar, yet so foreign fragrance, your eyes drenched in a deep green, it feels like home. Accompanied by a tender melody sung by the birds, soft rays of light cutting through leafy crowns, the gentle rustling embedded in insectoid humming. The slow rhythm of growth, older than man, older than all superficial chatter and pitiful humanoid complaints of everyday troubles, all of it gets drowned in this ancient song, audible to anyone, if only we cared to listen.

We need to retrieve something important but forgotten.
