We've got a very special guest for Sublimix 83, he was bound to make it on the series soon enough, but the man himself came through early to fill in a last minute vacancy with his wicked smooth selections and blends. You may have heard Dubconscious play BC's Shambhala or Bass Coast, or from one of his well-loved mixtapes. Born in Toronto but now representing Nelson, British Columbia - he's been slinging dubs (and a member of Toronto's Dubslingers crew) for well over a decade, and is no stranger to hybridizing reggae and dancehall riddims with a heavy bass aesthetic - as exemplified in this expertly woven tapestry of fiery hot sounds.
