It brought me sheer joy to return to Lightning In A Bottle,  playing music on two of its most legendary stages: The Junkyard (formerly known as The Favela Bar) and The Woogie. Throughout more than a decade, I've been fortunate enough to witness LIB's incredible evolution into the spectacle it is today, both as a devoted attendee and a passionate performer. This journey has played an influential role on my music, my life, and my community and I am profoundly grateful for it.

Thank you all for co-creating with me and I look forward to the next time we get to dance together. For the time being, I hope you enjoy this sonic journey we shared Thursday night at The Junkyard Stage.

I had the chance to meet the Robot Heart crew twelve years ago in NYC for a giant Halloween party where I played on the ‘copy bus’. 

That was a life changing moment somehow. I realized my music could be the soundtrack for a world that’s beyond our imagination, far from my Paris studio.

In 2023, I come full circle by performing at Burning Man for the very first time with my partner Liset Alea. 

This Thursday sunset set was a moment we’ll savour for years to come.

In this live recording you’ll hear: Liset singing 30 feet above the ground from inside the blinking heart, the voices of multiple colorful creatures dancing all around us, the massive Know Audio custom sound system rumbling under our feet, the laughter of unicorns, dragons and shamans… and if you really listen carefully you might even hear the buzz of a billion stars shimmering above our head.

Memories of Robot Heart founder Geo carried us along the set. His legacy will live forever.

Thank you Robot Heart for your commitment to music, love and Burning Man.

A few months ago in the desert I had a fantastic opportunity to spin with my mates Mike Lewis & Ken Marschke (https://soundcloud.com/typicaltechno) and Rao (https://soundcloud.com/hellorao) on Thursday night at the Apollo One stage. We couldn't have had more of a blast -- the Apollo One crew had an amazing setup and the energy was tops. We were glad to be able to keep the party going well into the early morning. 

This was definitely one of my favorite sets I played in 2016, and Burning Man was incredible. It's a few months late but I wanted to share -- hopefully this brings back those dusty memories and desert vibes. Feel free to download and enjoy offline.
