Carnival is a festival which evokes a spirit of togetherness and love among our people. The lyrics and melody of Soca foster an inexplicable yet welcomed camaraderie among strangers and strengthen the bonds among friends. The essence of Carnival mirrors that of a NEIGHBOURHOOD – where people of different backgrounds, who are now in close proximity to each other, unite to create lasting memories, share experiences and have fun. 
Neighbour, the first release for 2015 from Deeper Than Soca’s artist Sedale, does just that - it appeals to our sense of community and encourages us to party as one; to immerse in this unique bond which is fueled by the passion of the people, the rhythm of the music and the aura of the Season. Yes, “Bounce on your neighbour, hail up your neighbour, drink with your neighbour, because Carnival is the time to come together!”

Lavaman-If Jab Was A Yardie (Jamaican) Jab In Jamaica 🇯🇲 

From an outsider’s perspective, the Jab has been in every conceivable situation, thanks to the bottomless imagination of artiste Lavaman. Proving yet again that his talent knows no bounds, the freshly re-imaged Dragon, has managed to insert the Jab in an entirely new environment, this time hypothetical!

In “Jab in Jamaica (J.I.J.)”, we follow the Grenadian icon as he experiences Jouvert through the mind of a Yardie. Though close in proximity, the two islands inarguably bear many differences. Nonetheless, despite some initial culture shock, the practice becomes an easily adopted pastime! A bonafide accent and perfectly cued lingo result in not only a catchy dub-style hook, but a seamless merge of societies as well!

Lavaman continues to raise his own bar.  While fans have come to expect nothing but the best from him, he repeatedly exceeds expectations with hit after hit! And speaking of hits...this latest release is undoubtedly one...memba mi say!!!

Every Season bears its own fruit - as with Carnival across the caribbean many songwriters and producers align for the common goal of expressing the many facets of festivity.  This project birthed from the studio of Karbon Jamz came as an instant winner to the production of house Kubiyashi; The added injection to infuse more creative energy on the project proved fruitful to satisfaction of both producers.

A  cocktail of voices, sounds, personalities and an explosion of vibes, the Almanac Riddim features popular local and international artistes.  The Almanac Riddim is a sweet and pleasurable introduction to Carnival 2018, preparing the way for all we have in store for Vincy Mas.

Mason is ready to be arrested in the name of love committing the act of wifely grand larceny! Nobody can express it or deliver it the way Mason Made does it.  This song is an instant winner!

Mason - Somebody Wife

“Foli” is the word used for rhythm by the Malinke tribe in West Africa.
But Foli is not only found in Malinke music, but in all parts of their daily lives. Foli can be described as the natural riddim that we are all born with and tap into daily. In Malinke, West Africa they say “Tous les choses, c’est du rythme.” (“Everything is rhythm.”) This FOLI riddim is a interpretation of this concept in a Caribbean form.
