My Mantra

Charred Remains (ft. Bryte), the new single from W.A. beatlord Tobacco Rat, fuses the aggressive old-school rap stylings of lyricist Bryte and the crushing synth-noise sounds of Perth’s favorite rodent/producer in a rapid take-no-prisoners assault.
Starting life as a wild experiment for a separate project that stalled, Tobacco Rat invited Bryte to jump on the track and join him on stage for his most auspicious World Rat Day gig. Within a few days Bryte had written, recorded and returned the verse with his fierce technique and blazing heat, leaving T.R. to polish and lock down the production.
Bryte’s Rakim-esque verse flexes on the ferocity of Hip Hop lyrical form, focusing on the relationship between an artist and the inherent competitive spirit:
“For me, the song puts lyrical skill and battle culture underneath a magnifying glass, using heated analogies to boastfully describe my superior vocabulary strength and delivery techniques ... it’s one of my most technically robust songs to date."

So... you have stumbled upon THE collection; a selective plethora of attentively chosen and meticulously appointed tracks that have enchanted the very stream of my soul's consciousness. Tracks that bring vibes that penetrate my spirit are each placed here, to be discovered again, within THE collection of thriving playlists! These are the tunes I dig, have fancied the most, and have influenced vibes within me on some other level, at some moment of time. 

I have found these tracks to be relevant at times throughout my adventures in life, and most have partaken in many kitchen-dance-parties for one! My collecting tracks as a listener began back in 2010, launching my experience of discoveries within the realm of Soundcloud. Here, I share my carefully crafted playlists, assembled throughout the ongoing transformations of my journey from Then until Now... As well, both a long list of acquired likes that get me grooving (which will play for hours over days & weeks), and many other here-n-there, but sporadic-random reposts have piqued my curiosities. 

With this, I would like to catch your attention as your guide through these musical tastes! Although even a small nibble of these creations should be taken with a grain of salt, as not all delicacies may be to your tasting, and yet all my favourite tracks are presented here for you to sample! Each playlist has entranced me, continuing still with the initial hearing of each additional track... 

While I may have started these particular playlists only one at a time, all have since been ongoing, upkept and continued (with the best intentions of my listening and streaming habits lol.) For me, these playlists are an expression of my imagination, which is creating a personal storyline within my own mind, emerging from the linear order of 'themes' plotted throughout my life as I live it. Yet worry not, there is no particular sequence that the playlists must be listened to; you are free to experience this as your own musical journey.

Listen to what you enjoy and whatever resonates with you, if you wish. Or don't, lol. Either way, we must all keep on moving on, one way or another.

Honestly, what I enjoy most is to pick a playlist and then listen on shuffle! Each listening session is a complete new journey for me! Or another trip down memory lane!

I AM love of MUSIC

Once walking this planet as a human, Bad Martian has been one of the west coast’s strongest Bass Music contributors.  Under different aliases Bad Martian has been annihilating dance floors as early as 1996.  With projects ranging from DNB to Jungle to Dubstep and even further, Bad Martian has several assumed names and a discography that reaches all the way back to vinyl. It is this exploratory nature and comprehension of sounds that led to 24 vinyl releases, 3 CD releases and numerous digital releases.  His multifaceted musical inclination, coupled with his work ethic also led him overseas doing tours in Belgium, Amsterdam and Austria as well as numerous cities in the U.S. 
However, in the human form he was toxic and self-destructing. He was abducted by Martians in 2018 to further understand the human desire to self-destruct. While under the microscope, he died as a human and was given new life as a red planet dweller, thus creating the Bad Martian.  With his former life as a human behind him, he only looks forward now.  This is why you will never hear his human name mentioned. There is now only, Bad Martian. 
Known for his raucous synths and low subs, Bad Martian takes pride in his hip hop influenced music.  It is carefully calculated chaos that keeps his crowd packing out the dance floor. Make sure to catch the Bad Martian whenever he is in a city near you!
