After trying a fair few different ideas for this remix, I eventually managed to create a really flexible bass patch using Tone2 Gladiator, and decided to let that drive the whole track, chucking in lots of variation, wobbles, filter tricks, glitches and so on. The bassline follows the chord progression of the original and some of the other remix parts layer into it nicely, with lots of dubby echoes, stutters and sonic progression for good measure. This has been driving people wild in my sets for the last 4 months, and I'm happy to be able to finally share it with you guys, hope it does the same for you! x

His style is pretty freakin awesome and he's been getting a lot of attention recently for producing heavy hitting breaks tracks with crazy sound design and the original to this is no exception. So when I was asked to do the remix I didn't pay any attention to what the track was called, I just heard a sample and pretty much accepted it straight away. It was only a month or so later when I started the remix that I realised what it was called and thought "Oh shit, 'Welcome to the future'... If i screw this remix up then the future's not going to sound that great" ;)  

So I did my best and evan gave it a 4 to the floor break down in the middle, which is something I haven't done in years! Anyway, i'm ranting a bit now... I really hope you guys enjoy It, if you do then please share and leave comments and what not :)
