Yo yo! I'm seriously glad to finally be sharing this track with you, it took an exceptionally long time to write. This is the A-side to my next EP for Broken Robot Records, and has been my end of set track for some time. I really tried to push my knowledge of sound design to the limits during it's making and in the process learned a whole bunch of techniques that i'd simply be lost without.

Confession Vol. 2 by Vertex Remedy is a bold, emotionally charged continuation of a journey that began in 2020—a project born from pain, faith, and the healing power of music. Following the release of Confession Vol. 1 in 2021, Vertex dives deeper into the concept of confession, using each track to explore a different struggle we all face: pride, addiction, lust, self-doubt, and more. This isn’t just an album—it’s a statement. A raw, vulnerable offering to the mental health community from an artist who’s openly shared that music and faith saved his life.  The album unfolds like a narrative, with Vertex (Jacob Chavez) in a depressive spiral, called to action by a familiar voice—K4NTR1P—who acts as his conscience, pushing him through the fog with humor and urgency. It’s a story of resistance, of choosing light over darkness, and of turning pain into purpose. All I can say about this one is it's a heads-down hands-up chugger of a choon. It's got a low slung groove with a high frequency vibration - a huge tune with a top drop and a shakedown in the breakdown. It does take prisoners but it lets them off the chain, and it’ll tear your roof off and build you a new one.

Bad Tango is the electronic music project of UK based producer Will Railton.

Will was first established in the Psychedelic Breakbeat & Tech-Funk genres following his debut release in January 2011. After topping download charts with a string of successful releases on a variety of labels, he was quickly scooped up by forward thinking UK label Broken Robot, where he continued to help pioneer the Psy Breaks genre alongside the likes of Hedflux and ex-Far Too Loud member, Neurodriver.

In October 2018, following two International Breakbeat Award nominations, a long track record of global bookings and a multitude of auspicious EP’s, remixes and collaborations, Will released his first full length studio album ‘ILK’. A self released album, ‘ILK’ reached the top of the Bandcamp download charts over multiple categories in a matter of days and redefined the Bad Tango project as a hub of multi genre experimentation.

With support from globally renowned artists such as Gaudi, Headroom, Grouch, Kaya Project, OOOD, Globular, Slack Baba, Kuba and many more, Will has firmly entrenched himself within todays underground electronic music culture. 

His dedication to delivering fresh, distinctive dance music, high quality DJ sets and live performances has established Bad Tango as one of the front runners in our ever evolving music scene.
