Soleil Rouge introduit Premier Rayon. Une compilation réunissant artistes présentés et artistes à venir. Depuis 2020, Soleil Rouge se caractérise par la rencontre d’esprits souhaitant penser et partager des espaces de création sincères et sensibles au regard des bouleversements que nous connaissons. Premier Rayon résulte de la première édition de Paturia. Un séjour en communauté s’établissant à Mazirat (03), ayant pour cœur la découverte et la promotion d’arts musicaux et visuels.

Coming in as the eighteenth release is a selection of 5 textural wonderments from Swiss duo Atrice. Characterised by acute attention to detail, crystalline sound design and the mastery of spatial utilisation, their sound leaves a remarkable impact that will no doubt warrant multiple listens to really capture a sense of how meticulous their works are.

‘Accumulation Zone’ is a holistic release, formed through the recycling and transferal of sounds that cross from one track into the next, lending their features and motifs to one and other like an inorganic symbiotic creature metamorphosizing in hermetic space. The entirety of the release was produced during a stay in the Swiss Alps, casting an icy sheen over the whole collection of tracks. like a shimmering glisten as the warmth of the sun shines on the glacial surface of each piece. A complex unity of moods that complement the never-ceasing evolutionary sequencing and structure of each track.

Astraltopia is the third and final compilation in the Topia series, as well as the terminal release in the Astral Plane Recordings catalog. Made up of contributions from longtime APR artists and friends, Astraltopia traverses outgrowths of past label releases, novel sonic formulations and the infra-zones between and underneath extant club sounds. Accompanied by artwork from Sam Meier and mastering by Will Mitchell, the compilation follows 2012’s Heterotopia and 2015’s Psychotropia, both of which preceded the formal inauguration of Astral Plane Recordings. 'Collapsar' is a high-octane, howling, extraterrestrial banger caving in on itself, with its relentless drums and harrowing screeches clawing their way into the physical realm. 'Syrtis' is a deceptive slow-burner that halfway through the track reassembles itself in double-time through hyperactive breaks and disjointed rhythms.
