When I get sad I imagine Sherlock Holmes as a retired crabby old gentleman in Sussex cooing to his bees and yelling at his neighbors before airing all their dirty laundry and almost blowing up his cottage because EXPERIMENTS and Watson visiting him and being like "Dude, what?" and then they have tea and Sherlock hints that John must be lonely all by himself in a house that reminds him of his dead wife and isn't the practice taxing maybe he should relax in that armchair in his house FOREVER and then Watson shakes his head and puts on his hat and promises to visit again the next day.

So NotDarkYet (http://oneoftheexactsciences.tumblr.com/, or http://soundcloud.com/notdarkyet) came to me with ideas and guitar chords in her magical pocket and we collaborated on this song. It's complete domesticity and Sherlock-and-John bickering, which was really fun to write: I wrote all of Sherlock's parts, and she John's. She came up with the basic melody, and I the chorus, and then we fiddled around and viola! Enjoy!
