I learned today that Daniel Carey, aka EOM, has passed away.
 
It might come as a surprise, but EOM is the reason I'm here today and that you can listen to my music. He convinced me to begin making music after introducing me to an entirely new side to music with his videos on music production. Yes, artists like J Dilla and Madlib have a much clearer, stronger influence on my sound, but none of that would be there were in not for E introducing me to a different side of music. 

I'm here in a foreign country following my dreams and making more music than I ever have in my life before because of him. 

I wish I told him that.

Rest in peace E. We'll miss you.
