When the Temple burns, we bury a part of ourselves. 

We remember. We cry. We smile. And we move forward. 

A beautiful moment of eternity. Something intimate. Sometimes hard. Somehow sacred.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus after the Temple Burn has become an annual tradition for me.  It's a very special moment emotionally.  But this one was the toughest.  For many reasons...

But in the end, this closing opened the door to something bigger.

I am forever grateful for what happened afterward. Family for life. Unforgettable. All love.

Kora is the musical project of Mikael B Robillard, a planet Earth citizen with his family tree rooted in Québec, Canada. From childhood tunes with Grandma to co-founding the Saisons Musique label & collective, Mikael's journey is a testament to music's power to unite. With extended DJ sets at his Stereo Montréal residency and performances on global stages in many corners of our beautiful planet, Kora's sound is a tale of passion and purpose.

Kora has performed worldwide alongside renowned artists and remixed tracks for Ludovico Einaudi, Mercan Dede, Poranguí, Husa & Zeyada, and others who inspire him. With a diverse discography spanning electronic genres on labels like Decca, Kindisch, and Anjunadeep, Kora is now on the path to share his debut album, "Azimuth.” This multimedia piece is being released in four chapters, exploring soundscapes inspired by the Boréal forest where he grew up, with the purpose of inviting listeners on an inner journey to reconnect with nature.

I was given the opportunity to curate the lineup for our Preservation Society art car, Lucy S Cargo, last year at Burning Man. I brought my friends @oba-flip and @nodestinationmusic onboard, and we soundtracked a wonderful sunrise and morning on Playa. Here is my set from that day on my favourite snail :)

Dear friends, I'm grateful to share with you the recording of a morning session I had the pleasure to DJ on the cutest art car, Lucy S Cargo the colourful Sonic Snail 🌈  after sunrise on Friday AM at Burning Man 2024.

It was a sunny Friday morning on this love planet, smiling and taking life as it comes, lightly and playfully. 

I was so glad to DJ alongside @christianvoldstad and after my brother @dextercrowe who was soundtracking his first sunrise session on the playa so beautifully! I recommend you start with his set so you can hear the earlier chapter of this sunrise journey.

Happy New Year to you all! Sometimes it feels each year goes by quicker and quicker, but it feels good to rewind, slow down and live in the moment! 

We are absolutely thrilled to have one of the pioneers of deep, dreamy and electronic grooves. Mark Slee doesn't need any formal introductions, but like all quality artists it is important to provide a little background and context to give you listeners a nugget of information to take away with you :) 

He's been on the scene for over 20 years and therefore has an idea of what groove is all about. Teaming up with Atish in 2016 they created the label @manjumasi , which has been a leader in releasing quality deep house productions with a hint of quirkiness to differentiate themselves from the masses. A reference point for the connoisseurs. 

Once you click play on this mix you are suddenly already 20 minutes in without even realizing it. here is my set I played at the legendary Kiosk at KaterBlau in Berlin Sunday night for Britta Arnold's party Grrr mit Brrr ⚫️✖️

KaterBlau for me has always been more than a club, it’s a musical landmark, a playground full of surprises, a cosy and unique space to be free and one of my favourite places on earth! 

the Berlin crowd is very educated. they are in a way even spoiled with good music all the time, yet they are so open and welcoming to anything and you can see and feel that they want to support new and excited faces! 

i felt very comfortable and welcomed behind the decks even though i was beyond excited to play amongst my biggest inspirations and my legs were still shaking towards the end of my set.

the sound of the recording is unfortunately not the highest quality, but i still want to share it with you and i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed playing it 🌟💫 

It was a super fun party. thanks to everyone who came, danced, cheered, showed love.
