A 1993 collaboration between Baggins and DJ Mr Bee (Ben Forrester) based on ideas and samples that Mr Bee brought to the Moonbase Alpha studio in Totnes, channelling various techno styles and artists around that time.

Put together with Akai S1000 sampler, Roland SH101, Juno 106 and Jupiter 6, Yamaha CS20M and Atari ST1040 running Cubase.

This mix was made for one of my oldest friends, Margaret Crace also known as Ma, who passed in 2025. The selection reflects some of the tunes that we heard when we first went out raving back in the early 90s, alongside some similar bangingness and spiritual uplifitng themes that reoccur up to the present time. There are particularly personal snippits and samples sprinkled around for good measure. She was always up for a party and will be missed. Fly high Maggie! Cx

Ode to Ma 1hr mix

A collaboration from 1996 with Peter Allen Jones (D'Jonz) from the Opia media collective. 

Based on a back bone of rippling sequences coaxed from a Roland MC202 MicroComposer, this track is taken from the Chromatopsia limited cd release and was promoted at a live event in the Changing Room Galleries in Walthamstow that also showcased the photography of Mags Smielowski.

Outa Interzone with The Roland Stoves down in Devon to The Soundbeams via Decibel and Visibel up in London along with much Big Chilling to a new aspect in Spain. Baggins has been playing and making music (and visuals) for quite some time now.
