Stay With Me

My train of thought right now is when I get to a point where I just feel like I'm gonna ruin the song I'll just put it out.  It's sloppy but I feel like if I just keep putting stuff out I might find that connection again that I had with music not so long ago.

This song was meant to be the structure to a song and an attempt to start by writing a melody, chords, and some supporting layers.  It taught me some things and maybe I'll come back to it...

I think part of my problem is that I want to try and write so many different genres.  I hear a cool dance song and suddenly I want to write dance music and then I hear a super vibey beat and I wanna do that.  Decent at some master of none.

let it go

Basically a song where I went back through some synth presets I made a long time ago.  It's also the last song I wrote with the old setup that hadn't changed in years.  I deleted everything on my Mac (I backed it up don't worry) and started fresh.  I felt like my workflow was getting too cluttered and stale and I needed to move away from some of the older plugins I used.  it's been the right decision so far.

Low passed 8th note saw chords still my favorite thing ever.
