The passing of Eamon Downes, aka Liquid, hit me deeply. He was one of the purest, kindest souls I’ve ever had the privilege to know. I’m truly proud to have worked with him on this track a piece that holds a very special place in my heart.

When Eamon first played it for me, it was an instant connection. I wrote the lyrics in a day and recorded it with Hylu at UNIT 137. We never released it or did anything else with it, and in a way, that’s made it feel even more sacred.

The song is about looking up to God whatever that means to each of us. It’s about missing someone, something, and feeling the divine presence within that longing. It’s about love, surrender, and the beauty in letting go.

Though this track was never shared publicly, it carries a quiet, powerful truth one that will always remind me of Eamon’s spirit. His music lives on in all of us, and so does his light.
