Hey hey!  If you're getting this email, it means I've brought this project up to you either in an email or call - Below will be an overview of all the information about the upcoming stream.

The Event: CARMACK & FAMILY PRESENT - a charity virtual festival with a goal to raise donations and call attention to mental health and suicide awareness.  

DATE OF STREAM: FEBRUARY 27TH, 2020
TIME: 12PM - 12AM PST
STREAM LOCATION: TWITCH.TV and possibly MIXCLOUD, TBD

Now more than ever, the state of mental health has been suffering.  Sadly, the numbers for suicide have increased as well.  Covid-19 plays a big role in this, and the inability to come together and cope with friends and family in person has compounded the effects of the declining mental health in our communities.  Although we aren't able to come together just yet, I wanted to put together a stream in the hopes that we can have fun together while raising both awareness and donations toward mental health services and suicide prevention.

We're thinking of donating to one of these charities with the funds raised (TBD):

Also, I'm super excited to partner up with Joey Chavez at Family Reunions ( more info: @familyreunionss ) , a LA-based merch company with the goal to bring communities together by contributing to those in need.  Every merch drop they do, a portion always goes toward a non-profit organization in need.

Everyone has been affected by depression and/or suicide in some way. This is our day to come together, collaborate ideas together, and make this a damn good and fun experience for all. To put on something like this is a great honor and something all of our audiences will be happy to be a part of.  Hope you join us!

Sets are to be PRERECORDED:  you can record your sets in the comfort of your own home or any setting you choose, its up to you!

Info about the set - Here’s the challenge for you:  for everyone’s set I’m asking for you to put tracks in your crate you love, but never ever get a chance to play!  I know some of you (like me) are sick of just playing the hitters on stream so I wanted sets that don’t necessarily identify with your “sound” or what mfers pin you as.  Have fun with it!
