Exactly three months ago I played at Alice im Wunderland at DOCKS in Hamburg. Do you remember? I definitely do because it was my first all night long or more precisely my longest set I played so far. And it was so much fun! I loved the Prinzenbar and all the other colorful floors with its detailed decoration, the audience, the crazy outfits of some of the guests and of course the hospitality of the DOCKS crew! Thank you for inviting me and thanks to everyone who danced!

A little while ago we had the honour to play at one of Switzerlands most beautiful festival gems, the Am Bach Festival. Here's the recording of our set we played on Saturday at sun set. Hope you enjoy it! Much love goes out to the amazing Am Bach crew, to @luk-lechuck @noonen and all the others. The energy and love you invest into it, makes it a highlight for us and many others year after year. Also much love to all the amazing artists who provided the perfect soundtrack for this beautiful experience. Hello angels,

As we soon open the doors to our second show at Viertel Klub in Basel we wanted to take you on a trip down memory lane to our first show. We recall a hot summer day, where we once again welcomed Holger Hecler in our midst to take our new Swiss family on a musical tour.

Little did we know that his performance would be our favourite set of Holger up to that date...

The set takes you deep into the mind of this musician. As most of his work you immediately hear the precision with which he elevates everything he touches. 

Enjoy the beautiful creation that excites us for the day that lies ahead in Basel. If you are not joining today, step into the sound and you might now join us on September 14 as Holger returns to our home in Amsterdam.

Mixtape #148 by The Doubljuh

At the age of 14 the Doubljuh started to experiment with his first DJ setup until mixing music with vinyl became his second nature. His first attempts were characterized by Chicago House (Bad Boy Bill, Richard Humpty vission), Ghetto House/Booty House (Dj Funk, Dj Deeon) and especially Funky Disco House (Boogie Pimps, Armand van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Olav Basoski). Early on a varied House style with groovy melodies and catchy vocals arose. He impressed his audience first as a newcomer of the Tectrex Crew and performed as Resident DJ in the show „Rookie Freaks“ via the Tectrex Webstream. His opinion about electronic music fundamentally changed in summer 2013 after his visits to legendary festivals such as Fusion and Kazantip, which included a short performance. He got to know and love melodic Deep House, which strongly shaped his music style since that time. Now the familiar groovy House beats take turns with soft parts and enchant the audience with frisky melodies of the violin and the piano. This results in fresh sounds, which are still highly characterized by catchy vocals.
